Are you talking about Floyd or Pac:rofl cause they say the same things about Mayweather and it takes away from his greatness but what it really sounds like to me imo is a crock of ****.
Well, well. it sounds like once again Roach was full of sh*t. I thought that weight wasnt a factor??? I though they said that they would fight at 147. Then once the money part of the fights starts I kinda think that it will fall apart. Knowing how they have been working of late they will not only ask that cotto weigh-in at 142-143 they will want him to do it for 35-40% of the cut. Im somewhat dissapointed in Pac, I really thought that he was alittle bit above this and it was mainly Arum and Roach that was making all the demands.atsch
pac is being unreasonable. why dont they just fight cotto after a 2 hour training session or while he's eating. imo cotto shouldnt get suckered into the macho **** and shouldnt accept this becuase he's gona end up paying the price. I say 147 or suck his dick
this is pacman were dealing with. every thing always goes like this hatton: we agree a 50/50 split yea? pac: yes (2 weeks later) Pac: but but I want 60 you have 40.
He's a 140lber, they don't need to fight anybody of "substance" at 147, they're the top guys now and last time I checked it was Mosley and Cotto the ones to call him out. If Pacquiao was at 147 and called them out people would say he's a chicken who wants to fight smaller guys. If they want him so bad, move down, Pac isn't asking them to move all the way to 140, they are kind enough to discuss a catchweight. All this "needs to fight a 147lber!" nonsense is also getting out of hand. Who are these "true elite" 147lbers exactly?, Berto, Clottey and Cotto? Mosley is the only one to mention there as a true elite and we all know he's past his prime anyway. Cotto just went life and death with Clottey and Berto just went life and death with Collazo and a rematch being forced.
You are a bit overboard with your perception of PAC. "Smoke and Mirrors" :rofl. Look, I get it. You like Cotto. I do to. I think the fight should be at 145 with out a doubt b/c that is Fair considering PAC is the P4P king. He's also the smaller man going up against a legit WW who is also one of if not the TOP WW in the division. 144 is a weight that Cotto could make but at risking the validity of a WIN for PAC I think they should stick to the 145 weight where Cotto WILL hold a size, strength and power advantage over PAC who really isn't a WW at all. He's barely a Jr. WW. But Cotto needs to be fresh like he was for Josh coming in at 146. 145 is not much to ask of Cotto and it will be an even match at that suggested weight from Cotto's camp. PAC holds the advantage of being the better fighter, with his natrual athletic ability and talent and Cotto will be holding advantages in size weight and power. Just b/c PAC hasn't beat anyone of substance at WW doesn't erase everyting he's done from 106 up to 140. Which is incredible! But again....he's a small dude who beats up bigger men and has been dominant so he's a proven great regardless of not beating anyone who is relevant at 147.
No! Pac went to MSG on 6/13/2009 and immediately after the fight he asked Arum to make the fight with Cotto. Cotto was not calling him out, you must have him confussed with Mosely who was practically beggin for the fight. I agree and he aint no Henry Armstrong either, he has only fought once at 140 and once at 147 against very carefully chosen opponents so stop comparing him to the greats and we will stop demanding that he proves it to us.:hi:
He did say that but that was only after Cotto expressed interest in facing PAC long before the Josh fight.
Last time I checked "demands" and "prefers" meant completely different things. Here, learn a thing or two before you go off crying like a childish piece of ****. http://www.merriam-webster.com/
