I knew this match was gonna' happen.. A ton of people are predicting that Pac is gonna' get KO'd and that he stands no chance.. People act like just because he's in a lower division, that he can't move up and beat Hatton? People were probably saying the same thing each time he moved up a division.. I have faith in Pac and I know he wouldnt want a fight against someone if he knew he was going to be mismatched.. There is also one good side to this and that's that Pac is willing to take on the top challengers in the game, because he isn't afraid of no one.. Now, what if Pac was to beat Hatton? What would people say? I mean this is a guy that has foughten Mayweather.. But anyways, it should be a slugfest..

Whats the difference between this fight and Floyd fighting Gatti?...Its more of a mismatch..I dont see anyone criticizing Gatti or Floyd. And yes Gatti was looking for a payday.

First I never mentioned money. This has nothing to do with my argument ..Pac will make money whomever he fights...Two easy B level fight money equals that of a fight with Hatton.

..What if Pac really wants a challenge to see if he can beat Hatton. How bout if its to add to his legacy? How about if he sees something that gives him a chance?

Do I give props to Rafa for wanting to fight Pac, he'll yeah

Now if Rafa beats PAC? will his legacy be greater? absolutely

Again for once PAc is the one calling out...Like I said.. nothing wrong with it.

I clearly pointed out that I was generalizing first off. Don't pretend that you don't know what I am talking about or that the contingent of Pacfans have not said exactly what I said. And it IS about money. He and his fans are the ones pointing out that money is an issue. He asked for how much to face DLH? And two easy B level fights certainly doesn't equal the money he makes fighting Hatton. What is Pacquiao's biggest payday to date? 5 to 6 million against a top level opponent? How much do you think he got fighting Solis and Larios? Would it add up to the sum he would make fighting Hatton (or the sum he is asking for, which is rumored to be in the 15mil range?)

As for Mayweather vs Gatti? Not even a comparable scenario. Gatti was in his weight class and was a champion in that weight class. Pacquiao is talking about fighting a fighter who is 2 weight classes up and is doing so BEFORE he ever competes in the weight class below it. And for the record, Gatti vs Mayweather was a mismatch from a skill point of view ONLY, which is standard in boxing. Not a mismatch in size, one that is magnified because of style. It would be like Juan Diaz wanting to fight Miguel Cotto, Margarito wanting to fight Pavlik.

I would like to see him do a few fights at 135 too before Hatton like Campbell or Casamayor, but if he really wants to do it, then go for it..

I don't think I would want to watch two of my top three favorite current fighters go at it since the size difference is so great. Not only would I be a bit worried for Pac I would be very dispointed with Hatton for taking the fight. At that point, I would jump on the fight Witter bandwagon.

Hell yeah, this is what boxing is all about. Pac-Hatton would be a huge fight. There wouldn't be a single dull round.

Get out of here. You sound like his grandmother. What is it with Pac fans acting like douchebags.

"My favourite fighter", do you realise how gay you sound?

    Not another one!

Why don't you all go get a sex change and start cheerleading, it suits you better.

Good thing you amateurs weren't around for Hagler-Hearns. You would have been crying.

pac has said yes to everything its that damn yes attitude that gotten him in that legal dispute. remeber pacs education level stops at 4th grade if a fight happens its not gonna be pacs say its gonna be arums. pac will fight what ever arum puts in front of him.

But hatton will own pac. why becuase 10 lbs and getting your body to maximize thoughs ten lbs within a year to be able to face a elite level comptition that is hatton whos been fighting at 140 for how long. It takes time for your power and speed as well as geting used to that weight to catch up. sorry 09 maybe but not in 08. If they fought at 135 or catch weight 137 then the fight is more even. an up in coming pac vs a weight drained hatton.

Damn, can't believe Pac is getting bashed for dreaming BIG. He has paid his dues. His chance might be slim but he seems willing to take the chance. There would definitely be a lot of interest so both guys will make money.
