Cuchulain, I wont go point for point with you because its a waist of time, and every point you've made I've shot down in previous threads.

......but a new point you made was on Hearns vs Hill.
Which leads to whats been my contention in this forum in these "Pac's on Ped's discussions".......

I've been consistent in stating that I would not be suspicious of a fighter even though he's moved up and been sucessful in several weight classes, if he's been winning with skill against fighters that clearly are not as skilled.

Whats made me suspicious of Pacquiao is that he's dominating welterweights physicaly, with speed workrate, and stamina.

Hearns in that Hill fight boxed the pants off of Hill.
I dont know if you ever saw that fight, but Hearns just put on a jabbing exhibition, and Hill being a boxer himself could not outbox Hearns who had a sizeable reach advantage on him.

At about that time of the Virgil Hill fight for Hearns, another lightheavyweight wanted a piece of Tommy Hearns, his name was Bobby Czyz.
Hearns btw was very selective on who he fought in these higher weight classes he was in.
He was'nt a natural 175 pounder, and though the Czyz fight was one that alot of people wanted to see, Hearns did'nt like the style matchup.
You see, Czyz was a pretty good boxer, but could also bring the heat, he was a bruiser also.

My point is that Hearns knew he was overmatched physically vs Czyz, and preferred to take on the "featherfisted" Virgil Hill, who Hearns had the inclination he could outbox.

A Ped user now, would likely have wanted to fight Bobby Czyz, the bruiser instead of the fighter that could get it done with skill, Virgil Hill.

My contention all along has been of Pacquiao's phyical dominance of naturally bigger fighters than he is.
    He's physically dominating them.

Hearns did it through height, reach, and skill, and his speed and punching power decreased significantly with each weight he went up too........

Pacquiao has jumped through these weight classes dominating, something Hearns never did.
.....and Pacquiao is winning through sheer nonstop speed, workrate, stamina, things that PED use help increase........

Where fighters like Hearns slowed down with their weight jumps, Pacquiao has not........

Now having said that, I would have just kept my mouth shut on Pacquiao if it had'nt been for this.........

......I guess you could say that there could be a first and a fighter like Pacquiao could retain speed, quickness, power, stamina, workrate, etc without PED's.....and do it vs fighters outweighing him significantly........
There a first for everything.........but it just does'nt make any sense to use that argument when you're heard this from the horses mouth.......

Fighters gain weight as they aged, If you look at Manny's weight gain from 1998-2009, (112-144) = 32 lbs., compare it to Roberto Duran from 1978-1989 (134 lbs - 166 lbs) they are almost the same, so it's natural I guess. Duran even weighed 176max at the end of his career, that's 42 lbs. are they on PEDS too?

Be real here, did Duran dominate past 147 lbs?

Duran past lightweight is the posterboy for beating fighters through defense and skill.

Hello, again, Pacquiao is taking the bull by the horns 8 weight divisions later and dominating through speed (which has'nt tailed, it did with Duran),
stamina (again) it tailed with Duran)

Workrate, again it tailed with Duran, the higher in weight he went the more his workrate decreased.

    Hello *******s.......Helllllllllllllooooooooo........

Name fighters that have gone up past 3 weight classed that have retained, quickness, speed, workrate, power, stamina????????

Hearns and Duran both lost alot of the physical traits as they went up each weight class......I'm talking speed, quickness, workrate, stamina......

You tards are clueless as usual.

For Gods sake, both Duran and Hearns were'nt even dominating 2nd tier opposition past their 3rd weight class like Pacquiao is dominating the top welters of today.

At 16 I was about 90 lbs. Until I turned 25, I was roughly 125 lbs. As a full grown man I'm 175 lbs. We mature physically much later than most ethnicities. My brother and I continued growing into our late 20's.

Is not the weight gained, I don't think he has ever weight more than 148 lbs and he was malnourished when 16, once he started eating properly nature did the rest, he is not a tall guy but he is big by his height just look at his shoulders and calf's, the PEDS rumor is how he performed against bigger guys (which IMO he would had won those fights w/o Peds, Cotto was coming more or less from the worst beating you could ever take, against a guy with plaster on his wraps and was drained, DLH was done and made the mistake to starve himself for that fight, he want it more speed and what he needed was more strength, Clottey was a sitting dog that didn't throw any punches and the few that he threw put a dent on Manny's face (I wander why he didn't throw more) and Margo, he too was coming off a terrible beating , they all were damaged goods in one way or another, but what really make him guilty was his refusal to take the random tests.

why do you think Pacquiao will lose his workrate, speed, power? he still fights at his normal fight night weight 140+ lbs all time long, had pacquiao weigh beyond that let's say 160, I'm pretty sure it will affect him too much, his speed will suffer, his stamina will be different because of added weight and not comfortable at, that's why they keep him at that weight. Hearns and Duran failed to do that because their body eventually grows, they moved up along with their added weight compromising their speed, stamina etc. It's like this, Pacquiao is comfortable fighting at 140-148 lbs every fight night, his body is comfortable at it, he feels faster & stronger there, if he goes beyond that, it will affect him. That's what happened to JMM, he tried to bulk himself up way beyond his normal fight night weight, thinking added weight means more power, but found out it's not just power, you'll need quickness too, and you won't achieve that if you're body is not comfortable at that weight.

Pac was a Pro at 16 and Mayweather was an amateur completely different scenario and according to Pac's record he only fought one fight at 106 and jump 10lbs the following year to 116 his first year boxing ????....again I say Pinoys don't grow like that unless they have help.

Mayweather turned pro and stayed 5 years as a JLW none of this weight shifting crap.:lol::lol::lol::happy:happy

Pinoys don't grow without food. Correct. And it's scientifically proven that you don't grow a single ****ing inch when you're 16. Also correct, because you're a moron.

Mayweather didn't do weight shifting because he always walked into the ring at his weigh in weight. He didn't cut weight in the lower classes, and he probably really doesn't cut much weight now.
