Where is the contradiction in my statements? It is an accepted fact that Margarito destroyed Cotto. You're blind if you did not notice it. That's why I said Pac would not benefit much if he fights Cotto.
Because you said that people will use it as an excuse.... and then you said that actually it is easier for Pac to beat Cotto because he was already destroyed by Margo. Basically you are saying that people will say or use that as an excuse, but at the same time you are using that as an answer and saying that Pac has a better chance of beating Cotto because Margo already destroyed him.

It's not only an excuse which I agree on. It will be used to discredit Pac's win like they did to his wins against dela Hoya and Hatton whom they described as Floyd's leftovers. My point that you missed is : Pac won't benefit fighting Cotto who is obviously washed up by Margo.

i think cotto can neutralize pac's speed...but only if he works on his defense, because his defense is not the best right now
Yes because Margo absorbed about a gaziilion of punches of Cotto can Pac handle that, that why this fight is not so easy as you and the tread starter thinks, Paull Williams is the only guy having a easy time with Cotto no other fighter will have that succes.
