Pac needs to apply pressure, Floyd likes his rhythm and won't like being forced to move for 12 hard rounds.

Pac will end up fighting mayweather's pace of fight and lose trying to outbox him.
The main problem some of you guys have is not realizing pac will have to earn floyds respect in the middle of the ring, and quite early at that.
It amazes me that some of you think, the rd1 bell rings and Floyd is backpedaling from pac's relentless pressure.
You guys are bypassing the feel out process of the first few rds that all fighters go through and that's when mayweather is at his most dangerous( feinting, ****yzing, and studying his opponent).
The comparison for the Marquez fight is all wrong because
    1. Manny and jmm have faced many rds against each other, so it was basically a continuation from fight #3.
    2. Manny is simply not going to blitz Floyd in the first rd. he too will be cautious and trying to ****yze Floyd. That will be his downfall.
Trying to outbox a master class boxer.

More like Mayweather will eat straight lefts all night, if he lasts that long.

Really? I would say the first few rounds is where Mayweather is at his most vulnerable, because those early rounds is where Mayweather tries to work out his opponent and thats usually where he gets hit with something big.

Judah dropped Mayweather in round 2
Hatton almost dropped Mayweather in round 1
Mosley landed THAT shot in round 2
Maidana landed THAT shot in round 3

dont be surprised when Pacquiao drops Mayweather early on in the fight

I think it's one simple thing; Can Floyd deal with the speed of Pacquiao.

Mayweather doesn't really run away. He kind of stands in front of opponents and slips the punches as opposed to being quick on his feet to run. I wonder if Mayweather will be able to time and dodge the straight left of Pacquiao or not.

It's an awesome fight with so many back and fourth factors. I can easily see Pacquiao putting Mayweather down, but May could make him look foolish several times too.

Manny is going to have to show and prove on May 2nd because in Floyd's head, it's "you done all this **** to other people, now prove that you can do it to me."

I just don't think Pac is AS SHOT as most people say he is. He's still faster than most people out there, his combinations are still crazier, his defense is still just as bad, and his power hasn't dropped as much as people think. The people he's fought lately have either shelled up (Mosley, Clottey), had iron chins (Bradley, Rios, Algieri-yes him, he falls down a lot but keeps getting up, ex. Provodinikov), or had their faces punched in badley (Margarito, Rios, Marquez 4). I think Mayweather has a pretty good chin but I don't think he's tested it in a while. We'll see. Chips and Beer at my place!!!

He might be aggressive for the first 3-4 rounds or so. But the recklessness will cost him.
After eating enough counters, and getting completely neutralized on the inside, watch Pac get frustrated and discouraged. Floyd is a level above both him and Marquez.

And the left hand is orthodox kryptonite. Manny always lands way more lefts than he eats rights. *****s never seem to see just how many streight lefts Manny lands they only notice when a reaching right hits him. But then in the next argument they will argue how Manny is a a one punch fighter.

Well honestly that's pretty much the only way manny knows how to fight in the ring. He doesn't have a plan b or c as far as in ring adjustments during a fight.

If he fights that aggressively, he'll more than likely get knocked out. Marquez is a great counterpuncher, but Floyd is one of the greatest counterpunches in the history of the sport. He's also a lot more accurate with the delivery of his punches compared to Marquez.

Should be a fun one, for however long it lasts.

Fighting off your back-foot and countering with the left like a traditional southpaw, yes. Manny might catch him. But Manny doesn't fight like that.

Floyd has a 5" reach advantage. Also, Manny loops his left a bit. He doesn't throw it straight and he drops his hand before throwing it. (Telegraph) Mayweather throws it directly and straight. He doesn't drop his hand or pull back. It comes straight from the guard position.

Pacquiao is going to get worked over. Floyd by UD.
