You're actually right. I've said before, I don't think either of their jabs will play a huge factor. But, I could see Floyd using it more this fight. But you're right. He definitely likes to parry with his jab against southpaws. However, since Pac uses so much lateral movement and comes in so fast, he'll probably use the reach and force the jab out there to create distance.

Against Guerrero and other southpaws he's fought are more standstill infront, he'll parry it but Pacquiao uses a fast in and out footwork, so he'll want distance.

 

I'm perplexed at the people who thinks Pac will "respect" FMJ's punching power.
It's like they haven't seen Pac take it from the likes of Cotto, Hatton, Mosley, Margarito, Rios and JMM.
What's next? FMJ now how concussive punching power? The delusion in these boards is way too high. :rofl

 

Thought Manny was fighting well vs JMM, bar the knockdown and the eventual KO. I think whoever controls the tempo of the fight wins it - finding it very hard to see Manny taking Floyd out of his comfort zone.
