I think you fail to realise that power isn't just about physical strength; it's the amount of work that can be accomplished using physical strength, mental strength, heart, speed and stamina.

    1 Physical strength - Cotto
    2. Mental strength (ring smarts and experience) - Pac
    3. Heart - Pac
    4. Speed - Pac
    5. Stamina - Pac
    Overall Power: Pac

Another way to determine who's more powerful between Pac and Cotto is to ask the question: who will likely do more damage to Ricky at 140 or to Oscar at 147 assuming both were the same opponents Pac faced: who will exert more force?

Why does Pac get more heart? Cotto just fought 9 rounds blind when he could have quit for an easy victory.

Probably a Pac fan. Nothing wrong. I would give Cotto more heart after all the wars he's been in. But being a Cotto fan I still think he would loose to Pac right now. Should be an exciting fight though.

You don't know anything about Morales ever heard of Junior Jones, Kevin Kelley, McCullough, Zaragoza, Chi, Ayala, Chavez, and Pac and Barerra.

Besides Pac and Barrera none of those were great and don't tell me they were amazing champions.

You have a point there but Pac has also gone to fights against Sanchez and Morales I.

    Hell yeah!!!!

Pacman has been placed on a pedestal....he beat a dehydraded Oscar and
a rush you with gloves down Hatton.

Big deal....that doesn't make him impervious to an old fashion ass kicking that Cotto will apply.

I dont know about Pacs defense being suspect, outside of JMM, Pacs been hit like 10 times in his last 7 fights.

Pac being easy to hit is the biggest fallacy in boxing

After watching the Cotto vs Clottey fight I'm confident that PAC has a winning chance against the more bigger Cotto.

PAC too fast for Cotto. Cotto will look like a bigger and stronger David Diaz. Cotto wouldn't see where the punches are coming from. Either UD or late tko win for PAC. Cotto will look OLD and SLOW if PAC fights him. I wouldn't even be surprised if some pac haters will say Cotto is shot. LoL!

However in a fantasy match up, the Cotto prior to the Cotto vs Margarito fight will give PAC one hell of a fight. Very winnable for Cotto at that time.

But the Cotto post Marga and Clottey fight, I see PAC winning.

Some of these people are ****ing ******ed, power is no comprised of stamina, heart, or any other bull****. Power is power, stamina is stamina, speeds is speed.

Cotto struggles against bigger and stronger men, ex. Mosley, Clottey, and Margarito, Manny is smaller than him, expect a situation similar to Zab Judah, except easier since Manny is slower, less powerful, and less refined in technique than Zab.
