    here's another trend

    after 0DLH got beaten...
    --> Hatton is no weight drained-old-ODLH

    after Hatton got beaten...
    --> Cotto is no overrated-defenseless-bum-Hatton

    after Cotto got beaten...
    --> _____ is no ______-_______-___-Cotto

    The thing people are forgetting is that Floyd has is the best defensive fighter since sweet pea. Now Manny is the best offensive fighter since Tyson. What does this mean? Well the old saying is defense wins the game, offense gets the glory. I see a tough fight (that non-purist will call boring) where Floyd wins a razor thin split decison and Manny's fans will say it was bull$@%& decision, and Floyd will remain undefeated. The one to take Floyd's 0 will propably be Williams.

    pac will have to be flawless to beat mayweather since mayweather fights perfect and fights to pick up points and win not necessarily to hurt his opponents .. intersting after last nights pacman performance but i think the safe bet would be on mayweather with a 12decision.. if marquez can effectively BOX manny is it to far fetched to believe mayweather could do the same thing?? common guys be smart here! but as we have seen time and time again anything can happen

    Are any of Floyd's opponents on Pacquiao's level? Of course not, because Manny is the best fighter since Whitaker.

    True, but I think it was frustration stemming from wondering why the fight was continuing with Cotto in the shape he was in. You saw the looks he gave Bayless. He kept going at Cotto because, from the looks of it, he wasn't going to be pulling anything Pac wouldn't see coming.

    Mayweather on the other hand would likely be unscathed and still be backing off, and relentlessly pursuing someone in that condition won't be the best option. It wouldn't be frustration going through his mind, it would be caution as well as trying to execute whatever the hell freddie conjures up for floyd's style.

    All in all though, I won't be deluded. Pac would be in for a tough fight.

    yeah, pac has been doubted before, and he has proven people wrong. ask yourself this question. can you really compare barerra, morales, marquez, hatton, dlh and cotto to mayweather. none of those guys were slick boxers. only marquez, and morales had the style give pac trouble but they still engaged too much. mayweather wont engage, like those guys. mayweather is a tough puzzle for pac to crack. its not impossible for him to crack it, but chances are, he wont.

    manny cannot outbox mayweather its ridiculous to believe so, can he throw a punch and land hell ya but the whole point of boxing is to hit without being hit and no one right now does it better than floyd :cool:

    "Legacy doesnt pay my bills.
    ' The possibility of him losing to Pac is higher than you think. PBF knows that more than you. And losing against Pac will hurt his ego so much as it would his legacy. He will price himself out of this.

    blind hatred for mayweather clouds people's minds.. pretty sure mayweather will be the favorite in vegas in that fight, they have totally 2 different styles of course pac is going to beat up hatton more than mayweather did, but pac can be outboxed by mayweather, he is not as good as a boxer, a better puncher yes, and he is just as fast as mayweather, he could give mayweather problems swarming him but we'll see

    As much as I love Pac, Floyd is a step to far. He has far more dimensions to his style than Pacs recent victims. Not taking anything away from Pac. Floyd is on a different planet. Pure will gets you so far but Floyds overall game is too much for Pac

    When Cotto backs up he is "being smart and displaying his boxing skills" when PBF backs up its "Because he is afraid of being hit and lacks heart":rofl:rofl:rofl
