Totally different and different style like most Ghanan fighters have. The guy is not slick by any means. But yeah I'll give him credit if he fights Clottey he is tough if nothing else.

Clottey would give Pac a tougher night than what Cotto did cause Clottey has a lot of punch resistance and can absorb a lot of damage with that guard, unlike Cotto, whose damage taking capacity is very suspect. Clottey also can use the uppercut very well and can def cause damage. His problem is fading late cause of stamina issues.

Is this the same Clottey that Paul Williams is loosing but referee in the middle of the fight disqualified Clottey for fighting dirty?

    Are...you....serious? You can't be, I don't think.

I've never been more serious in my life. I'll make that bet with anyone and stick to it. Clottey is nowhere near the same league as Pac, he'll get humiliated, it'll be easier than the Cotto fight and almost as easy as the Hatton fight.

So damn true, its like a light switches off in head and tells him to stop throwing punches like he did in both the Margarito and Cotto fights.

I don't understand your reasoning. I've never even seen Clottey in trouble. Why do you think Pacquiao would knock him out? Honestly, I don't see your logic. Of course Pac's in a different league but you're saying Pacquiao would steam roll him with ease. I highly doubt that. I think you're highly underestimating Clottey's talent and durability.

I know he does that but I believe he was injured with a broken hand or something in the Margo fight at least. He could've probably stopped Cotto if he was an aggressor by nature. He's not. But it's true, in his losses you could argue it's more him losing than the other guy winning.

    one dimensional plodder?

joshua has the best defense second to mayweather. He also has 2 hands. He is a nightmare for anyone and not only did he beat cotto, he also would have beaten margarito (some still say he won) if it wasnt for his hand breaking down. And margo was wearing plaster gloves mind you. Manny will lose. Just watch judah/clottey to get a sense of what is going to happen when joshua faces a lefty.

If you ask me clottey is better than a prime ike quartey.

And also, I really doubt top rank is going to let this one go through. What do they gain from clottey beating manny? They cant just think manny is going to win. This is all a ploy for the mayweather/pacquio fight. That fight will happen. everyone relax, its just negotiating going on. The whole lawsuit thing can be dropped anytime they want, rememeber that.

well just look at his losses asswipe. He barely lost to margo because he hurt his left hand and could not use it anymore. Up to that point he was demolishing a fighter who put plaster in his gloves. Then take a look at what happened with cotto in which not only did he outland him, but he had miguel running for his life the last 4 rounds. And he still lost in cotto's hometown ring with his hometown judges. His only other loss was DQ and if you put the 2 and 2 together you can see why everyone and their mom avoids him. But then again, you would have to know something about boxing to see this.
