Not even close. Cotto was more competitive in ANY round. including the rounds he lost by a lot.

Which is because Cotto is the better fighter.

Some people after the fight were talking about how it was some sort of moral victory that Clottey made the final bell, while Hatton, Cotto, ect, all got stopped.

No... they got stopped because they went out and tried to actually win, Clottey didnt get stopped because he hid the whole fight. If Cotto would have spent every round hiding behind his gloves he would have gone the distance too.

Clottey was owned.... bad.

Pacman is nothing special as he has betten old washed up fighters and got outboxed twice by JMM, but he has to be on ped's :huh:huh:huh

I personally don't think this is a good fight for Pac. All of the strength advantages are gone. Clottey will weigh in at possible 156 to 160 on fight night. Clottey throws combos... and very good uppercuts. Plus he can take a ****in barrage of punches, headbutts, or anything else. Pac's only advantage will be speed and stamina.

Pac will have to fight 12 grueling rounds in what would probably be a clear but close and controversial UD for him. Then there is the outside chance chance that Pac is put to sleep. He gets a lot of credit from me if he steps in the ring with Clottey, because there is clearly very little financial reward compared to the risk involved.

Clottey is Ghanan by birth... But he lives and trains up in the Bronx.

That qualifies for me. Plus, he ain't agreein' to no bull**** catchweight, or some rehydration clause. He will weigh 160ish (close to 170) according to some people) when he fights.
