Floud has a good timing, accuracy and a good counter puncher. Manny doesn't have much of a defense just covers up or tries to move off quickly. His offence is his defence.
So Floyd wins this poll. Doesn't mean he wins the fight

Who is fastest fighter (hand speed wise) that Pac has ever faced?

The same question can be asked for Mayweather.

great question mate. never thought about it like that just always thought bout pacs great offence against floyds great defence which makes it a 50/50 fight but if the fight was to play out floyds offence against pacs dodgy defence then floyd wins.:cool:I can only see the fight going the 50/50 way though pacs offence vs floyds defence................man i just wanna see the fight though.

Mayweahter has great handspeed. Tremendous handspeed.

I don't think he has the power of Pac, but I think he could land a lot of punches because Pac will want to force the exchanges to land power shots.

Example: In the Margo fight, Pac would get on the ropes and Marg would land a few. Pac would spin out and and counter.

If that was Mayweather, he would be landing flurries of accurate punches and stealing rounds.

Pac has to fight an "in and out" fight with lots of lateral movement, jabs and pressure if he wants to beat Mayweather.

Actually, I think Pac has a great chance of KO'ing Floyd, but not beating him on points.

    Pacquiao Defense
    1. Pacquiao left straight (cotto, DLH)
    2. Pacquiao side-stepping to the right (nullifies an ortho's right)
    3. Pacquiao's high guard (although pac eats uppercuts-a lot of em)
    4. Pacquiao's short right hook (hatton kd1, margo rd10)
    5. Pacquiao eats punches and punches back in return (in combos)

    Mayweather Offense
    1. After every counter
    2. Right straight to face/stomach
    3. See his right foot everytime he punches.. imo it's essential to may's timing.
    4. Able to dodge punches while on offense.

But it doesnt mean floyd can beat pac or the other way around. we need to have this fight to settle this arguement.

    Do median instead of average.

    It will be more accurate.

I think too many people are putting too much emphasis on Manny's offense. For his offense to be effective, the opposing fighter has to be in front of him to be hit and we all know FMJ is one of the best at making his oppenents miss. So IMO Floyd's offense wins out over Manny's inferior defense.

DLH, Hatton, Cotto literally have no right hands. Clottey does have a decent straight and jab and look how he landed at will.
    Keep trying.

First half of this post is the truth, second half is bs. Straight right and counter hook are the two most important punches against a southpaw.

Mayweather offense. I hope you guys know that Floyd can throw every punch well. He just doesn't put punches together like he use to. I'm sure if he HAD to put combos on Pac to keep him off of him he would. Floyd dominates fighters without even using he whole set of skills.
