lol. I must admit, should this fight come to take place, I will be nervous as hell. I see JMM, Diaz & Valero as more of a threat but Guzman is such a dark horse, we dont know just how good he is, he could be better than all those 3.

The odds aren't that close...I get 1.58 for Guzman and 2.30 for Soto...

Close was Mormeck v. Haye - both at 1.86.

:D Indeed, at least it seems HE truly thinks he is...but if Soto beats him or if it's very close...Guzman might be out of the picture.

If I we're to chose between Guzman & Soto for Pac's future opponent, I would prefer The undefeated Guzman. Although he's not gonna Bring Mexican PPV market, His Bad ass Personality will be a better Contrast to Pac's Good Boy Persona. Good vs Bad are always guaranteed to sell. 24/7 series with Guzman/Mayweather Sr. vs Pac/Roach will really Hype up the fight.

Soto-Pac really will not sell, he's not that Big in the Mexican Community. JMM is more Popular than him. But my Pick is still Firm, Soto will win this. But the fight with Pac is not guaranteed. Pac will take JMM, then will take the 2 Diazes, Then Maybe Katsidis, Then maybe the Superfights with hatton/pBF.

Whoever wins between Soto $ Guzman needs to be Busy with Good Competition while Pac is Busy with JMM & Diazes. I say the winner fights Valero, Then the Freshly beaten by Pac, JMM, Then look for some top Lightweight like the winner of Sta Cruz & Casa rematch. Then meet Pac at 135. This way Soto/Guzman will have more credibility & won't be called overrated or Shot/old fighter when they lose to Pac.

Guzman takes this one by a close decision. Soto is big, powerful and rapidly improving. But I figure he'll be too slow for this fight. Guzman will slip and slide and leave Soto frustrated. Soto will slowly catch-up by the middle rounds with Soto's few well placed bodypunches taking their toll coupled with Guzman's diminishing stamina. It will look like Soto will take over but it will be a bit late. Barrios is every bit as big and strong as Soto (probably stronger) yet he lost to Guzman.

This will be Guzman's breaktrough performance.

45-41 for Guzman, it's really almost 50-50 here on ESB. Add me to the polls & it will 45-42 so far.

Barrios is nowhere near as skilled as Soto. Even the HBO commentators are picking on How wide Barrios's punches are. The First Straight Punch Barrios thrown was around rd 7 & noticed by Steward. Next to Pacquiao & Morales, Soto is the next best Straight shooter among the 130 pounder. That would be the key, the Longer, straighter & more powerfull punch will win the fight, Soto has it & not Guzman.

At 31 yrs old Guzman should already have his Breakthrough Performance. I think it's too late for him.
