I was wrong with my Pick. I'm not perfect. I stand by my analysis. I'm accused of caring only about Pac & now I'm just trying to contribute discussing other fights without Bias.

Here on ESB, this fight is 52-48 for Guzman. I'm not the only one who pick Soto. But look back at my analysis, things that I pointed out was there at the fight. Soto was just not busy enough to win it. I scored it almost a Draw but Guzman takes it by a round. I said Guzman can't hurt Soto, look at Soto's face after the fight??? Still Clean like at the biginning of the fight. I said Straight Right Hand by Soto is the Key, Look at Guzman's left side of his Face. I said Guzzy will stink up the joint, he did in the last 6 rds.

and after all of that, soto got schooled and guzman won. What was that you were smelling, something about an upset? lol. Yeah you were really spot on about the upset. Everything else you pointed out made no difference whatsover. so what guzman can't hurt soto, he still shut him out. so what soto's right landed every now and then, it didnt do **** to guzman. So what if guzman's face was swollen, he still shut out soto and wasnt hurt. Oh and btw, some fighters have their faces swell or bruise easily. What exaclty are you trying to say anyways? It seems like you are still defending your 'upset' pick. lol:rofl :rofl . Oh and on another note - Guzman did not stink out the place the last 6 rounds. He was just schooling the **** out of soto cause your boy couldnt do **** to him.

What Schooling?? What Shutout??? Associated Press have it a Draw!!! I have it 7-5 for Guzman. I said if it goes the distance the Judges will robbed Soto. 118-110?? That's a Robbery score for me!!! Even if Soto Knock Guzzy 5 times in the fight he cant win it.

Why are you dissapointed??? You want me to give Praise to Guzzy for stinking out the joint???? As a viewer I want to be amazed. I want to be entertained. Guzzy didn't do that.

Pacdbest, you had a good analysis but you picked the wrong guy and the wrong way in which the fight would end.

    You underestimated Guzman's boxing ability.

Ain't nothing wrong with being wrong from time to time.

You aren't amazed by anything but KO's. Guzman won that fight cleanly. And he looked good doing it (except the showboating at the end).

Actually, your analysis was completely off. Soto could barely land to the head, and did most of his damage to the body. He was beaten to the punch and countered all night, just like myself and many said he would. The key to the fight was not Soto's staight right. It was the mismatch in hand and foot speed.

People are disappointed because you mention your Donaire prediction every day and use it as a catalyst and prop to prove you are right on things no one else agrees with you on. Consistantly you will say something that is considered more than a little off, then you will say "People said I was crazy for picking Donaire" as though it validates your new point because you were right that time when others said you were wrong. However, when you get one wrong, and this isn't your first, you never just say "Props to the winner." There are always excuses and criticism. You are so quick to brag (and you do ALOT, so much so that you asked if others changed their pick because of yours) but show little humility when wrong.

lol a draw. I seriously doubt the associated press scored it a draw and if they did, I will never take them seriously ever again.

While I think PacDBest thinks way too highly of Pacquiao I do almost agree with him here. I did the round by round for another website and scored it 115-113. I started a poll just a few minutes ago if anyone wants to use it. Guzman fought very spotty and at least Soto was trying to come forward, but he was hardly effective enough to give him serious consideration for a win.

If Guzman didn't think he was Whitaker in the last 3 rounds, it would have been a blow out. As it is, I scored it 116-112. But Soto had little to do with the fight being closer than it was IMO. It was all Guzman BSing, something I didn't like when Jones did it, nor do I like it now.

There was no way I could have giving Soto more than 3 rounds. He was outboxed silly. And he doesnt get mercy points from me either. You need to win rounds. He didnt.

I said Guzman wins it. But it's not a schooling. Mijares-Arce that's the best example of schooling. And I give Big Props for Mijares for that. Pac-MAB 2 another schooling. Dominated is different than out work or out run.

Guzman proves he has a Good whisker, Great Skills & Speed. But he didn't think about the Boxing fans that's watching. Fans needs to be entertained. Boxing is Fighting to prove who is more macho. Running away is not macho. I was drag to boxing because of SRL. Duran, Hearns, Tyson & Pac. That kind of exciting fighters. Guzman is nowhere near those guys in terms of excitement.

On this prediction, I didn't say Soto schools Guzman. I said Guzman will win some rounds. I just said Soto KOs him with the Right straight. Soto lands some of it, Guzman's chin just hold up & Soto didn't do enough. I'm not even in Soto's Bandwagon. I just give my honest analysis of this fight.

The winner supposed to be a Front runner for a Big money fight with Pac. Soto shows he's not elite. Guzman shows he's boring. Both failed in their quest.

:admin Are you saying Joan is not macho ENOUGH?:patsch

Anyway, boxing is not fighting to prove who is more macho...it is the art of hitting without getting hit!:deal

I am disappointed with your attitude...

I won't debate on this subject with you anymore from now on...:good

Sorry to dissapoint you. But if boxing is that kind of boring art I have to watch, I better get out of here & watch something else. Do you wonder why UFC/MMA are on the rise & Boxing are gettin left behind???? Fighters like Pac, Cotto, & Pavlik are the fighters that Boxing needs. Guzman, Casamayor & PBF style will not save Boxing from this low Popularity.

You're free to start your own Guzman Nuthugger bandwagon. I already have my Bandwagon & I'm staying with it coz He's exciting.:happy
