    The Pacdbest Vegas live report.

We left just about 2:20 AM Friday

We're in Vegas by 10AM, Straight to Mandalay, Eat Lunch, Lost $40, Mingle with the fans, Picture taking, Got Pic with Chikanito Hernandez & Jorge Paez Sr(He jokingly ask for $5 to pose with him, Funny guy). Chikanito is very accomodating, always available for the fans to talk too.

I followed Chikanito, found where the Celebs are holding up for the weighin. It's downstair by the garage. Wait by the door, then my cousin said, Pacd that's Ana right beside you!!! Daym!! Ana Julaton in short & very collorful shirt which matches my Pac Jacket, got a Pix with her. She's beautiful, no bruises, no scratch from her fight the Previous night. I told her about my prediction to her that she will be the star in women's boxing, that she will in the Dancing with the stars in the future, nice..nice person.

Next comes Freddy Roach. we Got our chat & Pix. Dan Rafael, Shelly Finkel, Harold Lederman follows. We stayed for another 30 min, nobody's showing up so we get back to the Main lobby.

Chat & bull**** with our rival Mex fans, Lots of fun cheering..Manny..Manny..Manny. Interviewed Non Mex & Non pinoy fans while waiting to get in. Most of them for Pac. NO threat of a Fistfight just Plainly fun Cheering for Pac & JMM.

They open the door, Security said no running. Pac it, everybody scrabbled for the best seat. I just walk but my more Diehard cousin already reserve a seat, just 3 rows in front of the Press row. Fans waited for 30 more munites.. Chanting, cheering, Crowd getting wild, Press started shooting, ABS-CBn's Diazn Castillejo interviewed me but I heard it never made the cut.

By the weighin start it's about 2-3K Fans on attendance, Lot's of energy. You see celebrities everywhere. I saw some Mex carrying philippine Flag, A lot of Press Cameras in front of me but I got a Clear view.
After the weighin, More mingling with Fans & Celebrities. We checkin at Travellodge just a block away. Eat at the nearby Pinoy Restaurant( I recommend it).

Take a rest from the long drive. Nightime we walk along the strip, lose some money, Midnight snack at Mcdo. Back to sleep.

Fightday, Woke up around 8AM, Everybody gets ready, I give them our official PACMAN shirt. We tape the Big poster I stole at the Pacman workout in SF, right on the side of our Van. Put a sign in the Back "Pac Nuthuggers on Board" Test some shot of us together, we're now very excited.

We're at Mandalay by 2PM, we maintain our formation, it kinda crowded, so the 1st PAC line 1st follow by the MAN line. We really caught a lot of attention while we walk, Pacfan yelled everytime they saw us.

By the time we get to the Main Lobby, we take our 1st shot with our Camera. Then fans ask for Pix with us, then the ABSCBN & GMA Press Photographer ask us to pose some more. Daym!!! We felt like we are celebrities, we can't count how many Fans get a Pix with us. It's not only Pinoy, got a lot of Mex, Black & White fans too. I should have took a video of the scene where all the Paparazzi scrambling to take Pix with us. It's a lot of un.

After that we decide to walk around Mandalay & take Pix outside with Bldg on the Background. This is where we came across Larry Merchant, but he declined for a Pix pose, he's in a hurry. Went across Mandalay & eat lunch at Panda express. Some more Pinoy & Mex take Pix with us. As we wait for the stop light we maintain our Formation, Boxing fans beep & Cheer & Yelled Pacquiao.

Back at the Mandalay, Fans already lining up to get in. Fans already hyped & Chanting for Pac & JMM. More people ask for pix with us. We get in around 3:30PM. First bout starts about 4:10PM. It's a good fight that ends with a Draw. There's probably only less than a Thousand inside. If front of us seats some nice dressed Mex, They told me they're Proffesional Soccer Players. Right behind us were Pac fans, On the last row, there's a Obnoxious, Foul mouthed, Drunk Mex, He's a little bit annoying but it's OK, we have fun cheering against him.
Next fight, Farinas. I told the Mex that this guy is good, that he has the best Left straight after Pac. I predicted a rd 2 KO. Daym I almost got it right. Farinas is the Goods, it just happen his opponent quit after He accidentally lowblowed him.

Next Prospect Danny Garcia, I told them he's against a bum. I'm daym right, gone in seconds.

Almost 1 hr of dead time before the next fight started. Next is Diaz... occasional cheering but most are really not interested. Good fight, but one thing for sure, few people knows Diaz & he has a very few fans.
Next Gabi vs Mares, Pinoy & Mex fans got activated, Stadium still half empty. I thought Gabi was doing Great in rd 1 until Mares Caught him & wobbled him. Rd 2 it's over. Mex was Happy.
Next Leuvano... I Predicted a boring fight. And I'm daym right again. the only time it was exciting was when Luevano was on the Canvass or when he's in trouble. I thought he lost, even the mex in front of us dis-owns him.

The main event. The stadium starting to fill up, there's only a couple of hundred of seats empty. It's very loud. I barely hear the National anthems & mr Buffer. As the Fight went on Mex chants Ole''Ole...., sometimes chant Bolero...Bolero..., Marquez...Marquez... Pinoy just content with Manny...Manny...Manny.... 1st 2 rounds Pinoys are a little quiet. but when Pac KD JMM in the 3rd, It came alive like a Tsunami across the Pacific. It's back & forth action... I based my score on who is the loudest after each rd. If Pac fans louder I scored it for Pac. At the end of the fight, I thought it will be a Draw or a close point for Pac because of the KD. The mex in front of us thought it was a very close fight. The obnoxiuos guy in the Back we're nowhere to be found. My crazy cousin(former Dmanwdplan of Pacland) was in tears, I guess he beat me as the #1 Pac nuthugger.

Overrall it was a wonderfull weekend. We get our money's worth & our guy won. We accomplished what's in our Plan. I lost some money in the Casinos but I won't mind. We'll be back!!!!

The crowd are not really much interested on this bout. I didn't even watch the whole fight. I went out buy beer & was texting during the fight.

    the thai was getting schooled:yep
heres a recent post on another site on how to score by pedro fernandez:

    THE FOUR COMPONENTS OF SCORING

    1. Clean Punching: This is the key part of scoring a boxing match, clean and effective blows being landed.

    2. Effective Aggressiveness: Sometimes confused with one fighter simply coming forward and throwing blows, "effective aggressiveness" means going at your opponent in a manner that scores points. Many times you will hear TV’s talking heads talk about "ineffective aggressiveness." This is the fighter that's putting forth aggression that amounts to nil. Fighter "A" might be coming forward, but at the same time he is being schooled by fighter "B."

    3. Defense: Making the other guy miss. This area of scoring is given to a fighter that is slipping or blocking blows being hurled his way. Besides component 1, this is the second easiest of the criteria used to score boxing.

    4. Ring Generalship: This is the most difficult of the criteria utilized in scoring a professional boxing match. To make it real simple, ring generalship is awarded to the man/woman imposing their will.
