Hagler, Hearns, Duran and Leonard are on a totally different level to Barrera, Pacquiao, Morales and Marquez. Massive disparity.

I agree, It is not massive as Morales and Barrera dont have the popularity but were GREAT fighters not just average champs that we will have to say "remember that guy" NO, we will always remember those super feathers.

It is a pretty decent gap IMO. Morales is probably my 3rd all time favourite fighter, so I have bias FOR him.

But, Duran is the number 1 fighter in the deepest division.

Hagler is number 1 at middleweight.

Hearns is arguably number 1 at light-middleweight.

Leonard is top 3 at welterweight, and beat the other 3 guys.

In comparison - Morales and Barrera are top 15 at best at featherweight, Pac is up there at 130 - but it's not a great division. JMM is nowhere to be seen.

They are the poor mans fab four.

What I mean is that you really cant find a foursome as good as MAB, PAC, Erik and JMM besides the obvious great ones of the 80's..These feathers are second best .

MAB and Erk are near he top at Feather trust me

That is a good question... he would slot in there. The order is kind of anywhere after 5 or 6... but I know that I couldn't get Morales or Barrera higher than 14 or so.

I wanted to trust you but putting Sanchez that high..Sanchez's early death has lead to him becoming one of the most overrated fighters in history

That he beat a natural 122 in Gomez..Struggled against a 13 fight green substitute Azumah

Do any of you know how ordinary he looked in HALF of his defenses ?
If you didn't go wtach his fights, he struggled.
Please...see his fights with - Pat Ford, Ruben Olivares, Pat Cowdell, Rocky Garcia...for proof

I've seen plenty of Sanchez's fights, and he is one of the most impressive fighters I've ever seen. He is up there with Duran, Pep, Robinson etc. for how much he impressed me. A very complete fighter. Bottom line is he twice stopped then featherweight champ Danny Lopez, in extremely dominant performances, destroyed Gomez - who was undefeated at the time, and is now regarded as a top 25 P4P fighter. He KO'd Nelson, a top 10 featherweight himself - who despite relative inexperience, was an exceptional fighter at the time. Anyone who saw Nelson's early career knows this.

Not to mention wins over guys like Juan Laporte, who is a very, very underrated fighter. Sanchez is easily top 5 at 126. Who do you think should be above him?

Yes. I'm not sure where I would put him, but he was a great featherweight.
