I didn't say Pac has surpass those ATGs yet. One thing for sure though. Pac is more exciting than all those ATGs. Watch their old footage Then watch Pac's trilogy with EM, Pac-MAB1, Pac Ledwaba etc. I'm sure you will enjoy Pac fights more.

Pac doesnt come close to SRL or Duran, behind Hagler by quite a bit but I think he surpasses Benitez.

Morales was arguably the most exciting fighter of the previous generation. Of course Morales-Pac is more exciting, they are both excitement machines. But what's your point? Excitement means nothing. Gatti was exciting, more exciting than ANYONE (IMO), that doesn't make him great. Pep wasn't exciting, but I love watching him. Poetry in motion. People who appreciate the sport for what it is, appreciate the technicians as much as the excitement machines. We just don't appreciate the runners.

    What a Moron???

Don't compare Gatti to Pac. Gatti is B fighter only Spectacular against another B fighter. You Put him against an A fighter like DLH & PBF??? He becomes a Punching Bag.

Now Put Pac against an A fighter like MAB & EM??? You'll see Spectacular show with Pac making a Punching Bag out of these Grade A Competition.

I tried to watch Pep vs Saddler, I have DVD of it from ESPNC. I can't stand watching it over & over. Boring as Hell. You got bored?? Pop a Pac fights DVD & Voila!!! Instant entertainment!!!

Yes, but I classify him with DLH, Gatti etc. because he was exciting fans in the mid-late 90s, til now...and is basically retired. Gatti is the same, DLH the same.

Regardless of Pac's age, he's only really been on the world scene since 2002-3, and he still has a few years left. That's the difference.

    Oh my. :patsch

I'll compare Gatti to Pac all I ****ing want! Gatti is the definition of excitement. Even against DLH, he tried to brawl, took the shots and tried to brawl. That's what makes him exciting. Watch the Gatti-Ward trilogy, Gatti-Robinson 1 + 2 (brilliant fights), Gatti-Ruelas.. hell, just watch any of his fights! It doesn't matter if he loses, he is bloody exciting.

How can you be bored by Pep-Saddler? Saddler is a very exciting fighter himself, and Pep is just something else. A poet in the ring. Seriously, you need to learn to appreciate the sport, and not just one fighter.

Sanchez was champion during a pretty deep period, and since he had a tendency to lay back in the early rounds, it made him look more ordinary that he really was. (Same applies to Pedroza, too.)

Didn't fight Olivares. Fought Ruben Castillo (who gave Arguello hell and fought everyone close for a while). Gomez may have been a natural 122lb fighter, but he was a terrpor at the weight. That 13 fight subsiture would up becoming an atg, and showed why in that fight.

Sanchez warrants a place in the Top 10 for sure, and could slot as high as Number five on my list.

    He meant at featherweight.

That just proves how exciting he is! He continues to be one of the most popular fighters in the world, despite losing all of his big fights! Fans LOVE him, because he wears his heart on his sleeve, goes out there and just brawls like there's no tomorrow. The fans love it, and they love him! As Lampley (I think it was?) that always said it, "it doesn't matter if he wins or loses..."
