    Fair play Pacfan, but I hope you're right in your original prediction;)


    However, i've got a feeling that Jones will stop a "shot" Calzaghe. I think Calzaghe has lost more than people think and Jones will take full advantage of it.

    It's a poor fight that should never have been made, but as it's Calzaghe who chose it as a big money-low risk option, it would make me happy to see him lose for that reason, and it would make me happy to see Roy back at his best.

    If it all goes according to the big money-low risk plan, I will not be a happy bunny at all.


    Either way, the fight should not have been made. It is, like Oscar v Pac, another sad example of what Antonio Tarver so excellently described as "Celebrity Boxing". Instead of getting Pac v JMM III or Calzaghe v Dawson, the best guys in each weight division squaring off in fair fights that are close to 50-50, we get money fights to con 'fans' who don't follow boxing closely and therefore don't realize they are a sham, and aren't 50-50 going in at all.

    I know deep down you are wrong (Calzaghe didn't look too shot to me against Kessler & Hopkins), but I desperately hope you are right :good

    Well, lets face it. If Calzaghe loses 1/2 of what Jones has lost to date, then Calzaghe will lose tonight. But we'll find out in a little while. I won' be too dissapointed should Jones win though. I'd be interested to see the fallout from such a win.
