But the facft remains that Mayweather had fought JMM at welterweight when JMM struggled mightily at 135 prior to that fight.

Pac vs. JMM at 147 - never even existed and I am sure that the two would never fight again despite what Arum is saying.

Against Cotto, Pac had a huge advantage by fighting him at 145.

but then, the haters say Pac is a full fledged WW.

But if Pac is a full fledged WW, and Cotto is a full fledged WW, then surely 145 had the same effect on both fighters?

And if 145 was worse for Cotto than for Pac, then surely its cause Pac is not a real WW right?

But if Pac is not a real WW, then doesn't Floyd have an advantage if they fight at 147?

Great point but the biggest difference is what these guys have said....the way they've carrried themselves as the fighters they are or want to portray.

Manny has always been very much into giving his opponents props and never making predictions himself on victory.

Floyd on the other hand has not.....Manny requesting a catch weight b/c he was the smaller man moving up in weight wasn't anything new......it happens a lot in boxing and it's happend for years. Manny was going up to face a legit and top level WW in Miguel.

With Floyd....he's stated that Manny is garbage, hype, "not on his leve', an easy payday ect. ect. ect.... Before the fight was made Floyd came out saying All Manny had to do was say his name and the fight would be as good as done.

Unfortunately Floyd didn't mention that he was also going to spread rumors that could ultimately kill the fight by claiming PAC is on Roids, PEDs, HGH or the famous...."A side of Meff".

That is a HUGE contradicition from saying Manny "ain't ****" to "He's knocking guys out b/c he's on something"

Which set up the demands that are unprecedented....NO ONE has ever asked for OLYMPIC style testing for any boxer in the past.... MANY have requested catch weights.

The odd thing is Floyd himself.....making a 180 in terms of his NORMAL and PREDICTABLE personality.. He is actually giving PAC credit for him being good or great....

Floyd is doing it indirectly by saying..."he's on something", but taht just means he knows Manny is a challenge.....Floyd is normally cocky, brash and confident....., yet his actions show anything but.... "Take my test if you want me to do my job and fight".

That's not the Floyd who I know....Floyd if he's as confident as he has said and as he continues to say would have signed the contract...not come up with baseless accusations about his opponent and would have not requested demands for Olympic style testing.
