Roach said "We're extremely interested in a fight with Mosley" and that was before Mosley fought Mayweather

Roach said "Pacquiao wants to fight Margarto" and that was before Margarito fought Mosley

Roach has said "We want the Mayweather fight. Floyd doesn't want it." about 100 times.

Roach now feels that Pac would even beat Duran. He said something like "before I didn't think he could, but now I do."

If that's what a Pac hater sounds like, then Pac is a hell of a fighter.

Roach has said that Pac is the best fighter in the world several times. "We'll never see another fighter like Manny Pacquiao in our lifetime."

I mean coming from someone who is apparently so quick to put Pacquiao down (Mosley you're too good, etc) that says alot

Roach also gets paid based on how much revenue Pac generates. :deal

There's a reason why Roach and Arum have CAREFULLY selected who Pac fights and when. ;)

When it comes to his comments, Roach obviously doesn't care that he gets paid based on how much revenue Pac generates, or he wouldn't have said that Oscar couldn't pull the trigger, or that Clottey wasn't any good. He would've kept that to himself.

Roach just calls it like he sees it. He's proven that time and time again.

So when he says "we'll never see another Manny Pacquiao in our lifetime" and "Pac wants the Floyd fight real bad" and "We're interested in a Mosley fight" before Mosley fought Mayweather, that says everything right there.

This is the kind of thinking that will get Pacman's legacy ruined.

We all want a "peoples champion" who will fight anyone.. but get over it!

It's not going to happen.... let the promoters and his manager do their jobs and let Pacman do his.

However, I will boycott a Mosley match up

that's not what I'm saying at all.

All I'm saying is that Roach speaks his mind, wether its pro-Pacquiao or not.

That's why he said a guy like Hatton wasn't that good, before and after Pac fought him. It would have been better for Pacquiao if Roach said that Hatton was really a great fighter and that Pac just destroyed him anyways. It would have been better for Pacquiao for Roach to say "There is no doubt Cotto is still at his 100% best." but that's not what he said

And that's why when he says that Pac is a once in a lifetime type fighter, he says that because that's what he believes.

So when Roach says they are interested in a Mosley fight, on tape, before Mosley vs Mayweather happened... Who am I to say that he's just lying?

People think Roach just said Mosley was too good, but what he really said what that Mosley was too good to give him a big weight advantage, but that they were willing to fight him at a catchweight. Keep in mind that this was right after Pac had weighed-in 138lbs against Hatton for the JrWW championship.

pointing out the obvious does not equate to hating, but spinning the truth to discredit a fighter does.

PAC and Floyd both catch that wrap and I honestly think that it's unfair. Considering the level and the performance both display when they fight I don't think there is any grounds to say they are cherry picking. It's not their fault they are head and shoulders above most of their peers.

Now I will say that Floyd catches more negative press simply b/c he's chosen to create this persona that embraces contraversy. And of course that decision has been a double edge sword for Floyd. He gets a lot of attention...both positive and negative which generates a lot of money for him...but he also doesn't get the admiration and respect that an equal talent like PAC gets either. And the negative includes sometimes unfair and unjust critisim.

The only fighter Floyd has ever ducked in my opinion was Manny. Simply b/c there were NO other options that presented all the perks a fight with PAC would bring. Everyone else Floyd has faced made sense.....whether that be financial or with regards to building on his legacy.
