I went to a nearby theater in VA to watch the fight, it was PACKED. packed as in there was not a single empty seat. I watched the previous two fights for mayweather in the same theater and it was about a quarter full at most for marquez and about half full for the mosley fight. I'm just amazed at how so many people knew about the fight when it appeared that it had no hype whatsoever, add to that the bad economic times. if PPV did as well as the mosley fight then it'd be truly amazing specially when you consider the price hike.
hardcore and very very very loud. People were singing national anthems with the singers lol. what surprised me the most is floyd had more fans in there. not because ortiz has a huge following, but because i thought the amount of people who watch his fights are mostly the ones who want to see him on his back. that was the not the case there, at all.
I watched at a Casino theater in the Chicago land and it was packed. Pretty good experience I will watch there again due to the new spike in PPV cost (70 dollars) which I'm having trouble justifying now. There were a few around who were loud but when the round would start they would finally stop, plus they leave the volume up pretty high to compensate for those who are talking (I'm assuming). With the big HD screen and good audio it was definitely fun to watch there.
