    As previously stated for the reasons, hard fight to call. I would favor Armstrong at 147 and Packey at 135 .. Packey was just the fighter caught so to speak between the 2 weights, too big for 133 and too small for 147 as his best weight was 139, YET he kicked ass in both divisions … He was incredibly fast of foot with speed and could box you from the outside and crack you with power when he needed to "fight" and tussle. No one is bullying Packey around. He was a hot head and he grew up in the Stockyards regularly street fighting. As you saw when after a 2 year lay off and carrying around 153 pounds he slugged it out with Gibbons to basically a draw. He was described as a complete well polished boxer ahead of his time … and helped to train Barney Ross early in Ross' career before Packey joined the Commission … as I've read
