Leon is correct. His basal metabloic needs are probably around 2500 kcals and he burns 4500 kcals in physical activity.

My workmate recently did a charity cycle challenge and estimated that he used approx 8,000calories per day. (cycling around 100 miles per day).

The average person burns 2000 calories a day just to maintain his body, hence why our recommeded GDA is about 2000 calories a day. If we werent burning that, we would be fat. Now consider that Pac's metabolism is probably through the roof with all the exercise he does, so he might be burning an average of 2500-3000 a day. 1 hour of boxing exercise burns roughly 1000 calories...he trains for 3hours a day, thats another 3000 calories burned. He runs 10 miles which burns about 1200 calories a day.

Add it up and he is burning about 6700-7200 calories a day. Right on the money. There's a reason why Ariza controls his diet as oppose to these ESB experts who thinks its impossible to burn 7000calories a day  he actually has a degree on the subject.

Lot's of posters showing how dumb they really are.

Go research about basal metabolic rate and how your muscular mass affects that.

    I can't believe ESB is actually a sports-oriented forum.

Let me guess, lots of you here pump iron everyday, same muscle groups every time, increase your resistance training every so often, goes on a "diet" that consists of eating low calorie food while bulking up, and somehow think that you will gain muscle mass that way?

Let me guess you lost 10lbs and now stuck in that weight and can't go down any longer?
You gain 5lbs of muscle and can't gain anything more?

    Idiots.

If it's true the 7k calories just think about this :
he doesn't burn the whole 7k , part of it is used to gain weight , which explains how he came up from light flyweight to a fully fledged welterweight (106 to 147 in lean mass) , which is amazing .

I think Manny said he eats 7000 calories a day, which is pretty easy to do if you eat the right foods.
