Just because you can't do it doesn't mean other can't also. There are people who are just born to be fighters. Manny is one, with a wrist size of 8 inches on par with tyson which is proportional to skeletal frame. Compressed into that small body. He's a freak of nature.
He has those gifts and he backed it up with discipline and hard work.

But yeah, your opinion. So whatever

Recent study showed that there is less postive correlation between bad knees and running than people believe/thought.
For just as many people that have bad knees that get worse by running there are those with good knees that do not seem be harmed by it...or are even strengthened.
Thus saying "running is bad for your knees" in a general sense is false...it depends on the individual. (or so said the study....)

Good post, but you burn way more calories running than that...

...Now compare that to what Olympic gold medalist and swimming sensation Michael Phelps eats in the morning, and you might feel a little malnourished:

    — three fried egg sandwiches with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, fried onions, and mayo
    — one five-egg omelets
    — a bowl of grits
    — three slices of French toast with powdered sugar
    — three chocolate chip pancakes
    — two cups of coffee

For lunch, Phelps drinks 1,000 calories worth of energy drinks, one pound of pasta with tomato sauce and two large ham and cheese sandwiches (with mayo) on white bread.

For dinner, Phelps’ meal consists of six to eight slices of pizza, another pound of pasta with tomato sauce, and 1,000 calories of energy drinks.

People don't realize Phelps is 6'4. Swims about 3-5 hours a day. 8 slices of pizza would be enough for my entire daily consumption.

I remember when I use to run and do push-ups and sit-ups after I graduated from the academy, I use to eat a whole pizza with everything on it by myself for lunch and that didnt include breakfast or dinner. And i was ripped and muscular back then

Michael Phelps hovers in weight, particularly if he isn't training. 215 though was his weight around the 2008 Olympics.

The logic simply isn't there. Exaggeration in which there's no common base does not make for an "example". It just makes for the purveyance of a truism. You're no professional athlete, let alone in the upper echelon of the professional athletes. The fact that you would make such a comparison says that clearly.

Also, consider the dimensions of Manny versus welterweights and you versus heavyweights. Manny is 5'6. He is not too much shorter than most welters. At 5'11, you'd be much shorter than every top 10 heavyweight. Additionally, to weigh the same as they would, you'd have to pack on exorbitant amounts of muscle, akin to Mike Tyson. Unless you have his genetics and discipline, you will be ineffective. You will be slow, fat, too bulky, or a combination of all 3.

Also, heavyweights supposedly punch pound for pound harder than any other weight class given the simple physics of p=mv.

Also, Manny is not a power puncher at 147 by any means. He has also not simply walked through his opponent's punches. He's taken his licks, but he doesn't go down due to his determination to win. In case you forgot, he sustained nasty injuries with Cotto, Clottey, and Margarito.
