    If it truly happens:happy

I dont care who's first, escond, or third:nono Valero, JMM, Winner of Guzman vs Soto are the slots:yep = Real Champion

I'm not buying ANY ish about Pac being scared of any fighter at 130, they ALL make money and could provide the evidence that makes his legacy much better than it is already.

. . . on the second thought this statement by Pac might just be a ploy to force JMM and his team to settle down and make an honest negotiation for the fight. :think :huh

Valero then Soto sounds sounds as exciting as any and David Diaz would probably just give Pac a bit of unglorified damage. That said, I think Pac has had enough war experience with great boxers to compete against Baby Bull or Casamayor.

Good post, I agree. It is about time the other 130 champs face each other off and not just lined up for a shot at the Pacman. They have to do their own division cleaning chores.

Problem is, I truly truly doubt if JMM would ever fight Guzman before he fights Pac. JMM has never mentioned Guzman as an opponent and matter of fact turndown a unificiation fight with him (when Barrios backed out against JMM).

thing is, if pac goes to wipe the floor with valero's ass, haters will be saying that valero was onerhyped to begin with.

anyway, bring it on. at least haters can't call valero old

I have read that HBO want Diavid Diaz to fight Michael Katsidis next to kick off the 2008 season with a barn burner of a fight and have been making a huge push to make this fight happen.

Now the rest is up to the Katsidis camp aswell as David Diaz's management.

I prefer SOTO or JMM to face off with PAC first, preferbly JMM (he's getting old too)...I wish VALERO - PAC could wait, this fight will damage both fighters.

I'm afraid PacMan might literally kill Valero.

The fight is not official, Pac and his team said that hins next opponent will be named immediately after the Soto/Guzman and JMM/Juarez fights.

If JMM wins expect him to be first on the list
If Juarez wins and Soto wins expect Soto to be next
If Juarez wins and Guzman wins then its likely for Valero

I wasn't aware JMM turned down Guzman. But I could see how Guzman might be a high risk low reward proposition. Especially now that he beat Barrios...

JMM was originally supposed to fight Barrios then Barrios backed down because he said he may not make the 130 limit anymore. Team Guzman volunteered to fill in, team Marquez turned them down publicly.

JMM has no right to do a high risk-low reward assessment because he ain't no superstar himself :nut . It can easily be argued that he is the high risk low reward for Guzman.:patsch

I don't think anyone should be doing high risk low reward. Fight the best fighters, you will make money.

Remember, Pacman got his break because MAB gave it to him.
