let's see how good Valero is when he finally faces an elite and a P4P fighter in Pac.
Can he k.o Pac in the 1st round? or will the PacMan punish and k.o Valero in the mid or late rounds.

    Bad example.

Pac's real break was when he fought Ledwaba, when he was picked as a late sub in a 2-weeks notice and a $50K payday. Pac made sacrifices there.

When MAB fought Pac, Pac was already making a name for himself by koing a string of previously un-knockable opponents. And Pac agreed to a very low purse to get a fight with MAB.

Everybody gets a break every now and then and when they get the opportunity, they should grab it. Pac did it and that is why he is where he is now.

    But JMM...

Refused to fight a rematch with Pac for $900K
Demanded $1.75M for a fight with Morales
Turned down a fight with Guzman

About not doing high risk-low reward assessment, you have to be either kidding or you are a fool if you really believe that. These are guys fighting for living, these are not pitbulls. What is your definition of the "best available fighter" anyway? If it is based on general perception, then it is all about popularity and if a fighter is popular, then he it is a high-reward fight.

This fight IMO will be comparable when Pacman fought the wild swinging Lucero - and you knew the result of that fight. But I'm not saying that Lucero is a better fighter than Valero, just their style.:yep

now that he is done with barrera, he must pursue marquez. this will seal his legacy and erase the stigma of the draw 3 years ago. but if marquez is not that interested in fighting pacquiao and is not committed 100%, it would be better for pacquiao to fight somebody else like valero.

Its gonna be a SHORT COMPETITIVE fight! With ALOT of fireworks until one gets KO between the 3 and 6th rounds. That's my prediction anyway. I think PAC Lands a straight left that sends Valero to the canvas...he gets up and PAC finishes the job via TKO.
