Cottos terms are 147. He knew Pac wouldnt agree to that. Hell he barely agreed to 145. He threw the fight in doubt trying to get it at 143.

 

if cotto or whoever cant make weight....then maybe they should fight guys 2 divisions heavier than they are so they wont have to worry about it...pac was a super featherweight 2 years ago....

 

EVERY fighter in history asks to fight at a certain weight. That's one of the things they negotiate about. Could the forum-people think for a while before over-reacting?

A trainer recommends an optimal fighting weight to his pupil. the boxer follows the advice. He lays his terms on the table, the other team does the same thing. they negotiate, agree to terms, then sign. Nobody is pointing a goddamn gun at anybody's head.
