    Anybody give Marquez a chance in this fight?

    Ain't it interesting though, Floyd fighting a big punching southpaw and Manny fighting a boxer who can wait on him, not flinch and counter. Hopely that means what i think it means and the fight happens by this time next year...here's hoping.

    Pacs a boxing god, it would be great to see him & his wee moustache.

    However to a hardcore ****er like me? Meeting JMM would blow me away! To me Marquez is one of the best characters in boxing today, funny in his own way, mixed with arrogance, toughness & mysteriousness.

    Many moons ago the fight with Scott harrison was set in stone, but Harrison was already on his way out of this world mentally, it fell through & it broke my heart. & all Harrison & Maloneys fault:twisted:

    At the time, I would have picked Scotty, but as the years have passed? I would never pick against Marquez. Marquez is a true hero of mine nowadays. So let Manny draw the crowd, cos it gives me more time to bow at the feet of JMM:deal

    thats the first thing i thought when i read the title of this thread,,
    ,,you can no way look past the warrior that is marquez,,but i reckon this "chance encounter " is part of the plan to build the super-fight that i am now convinced is gonna happen.:happy
