Pavlik-Hopkins...not a title fight pavlik-taylor 2....not a title fight Leonard-Ladonde....lots of people mention this when putting down leonard trinidad-Jones....not a title fight.... list goes on and for those calling me dumb, i am use mayweather's argument, have you boxed in your life.....the answer is NO.... i also bet i know boxing history better then most of you as well it's funny that it is ok to put down mayweather but not pacman
the article makes sense actually but what hell is up with the name player haters.... we are not in a lil wayne video, and your not a 16 years who is talking about another 16 year old who is jealous of you because you got a girlfriend lol when the hell did it become a sin to crique pacman the way everyone criques mayweather
So what if it ain't a title fight? my point is catchweight fight happens in boxing. oh and mayweather did it too but failed to honor it but lets give JMM credit for not backing out after mayweather weigh in 2 pounds to the agree 144 lbs catchweight.
There is a lot wrong with your opening post m'man. i dont want to go through it all but things like not beating any champion at 140 (at that time Hatton was still number one at the weight, and was the champion) , making hatton lose weight to fight him, Oscar having recent fights at 160 (his last fight at 160 was 4 YEARS prior, in which he weighed....... 155lbs ) Im not going to go through it all, but what i will say is how is someone going to feel sorry for oscar????? lol.... HES the one that calls the shots in boxing, even at that point in his career. He knew he was fighting a small man and theres no way it would be at 154, so it had to be made at 147.... what is pac going to say? no im not going to fight you at 147? And oscar had just fought Forbes a whopping 3lbs above welter 7 months prior.... it seems this keeps getting blown out of proportion to the point people act like oscar had just fought at middleweight and such.... and that Pac challenged him to fight with a gun to his head. - Pac was fighting at 130lbs at the start of that year..... 130lbs.... Oscar has only himself to blame for fighting pac at that weight, nobody forced the biggest name in boxing to do anything he didnt want to. Now... if this was a guy who is dying to make a name for himself, and to make some money and legacy, and then gets challenged by the now huge name and dynasty that is pac, and he buckles under the pressure to secure a huge fight and agrees to drain himself a good 7-10lbs under where hes been recently, i could understand the argument, or if Pac was making guys move up to fight him that have no buisness being at the weight, again... i would understand. not the Hoya fight though, IMO.... but lets just say that i do accept that the hoya fight was complete bull****, hoya got pressed and pushed to take the fight at 147, and i deem that a 'catchweight fight' hes done it a whopping TWO TIMES in his LIFE, lol... come on man... The cotto fight, that i will concede, no reason Cotto shouldnt have been able to weigh in at the legal weight limit for HIS OWN TITLE defence against a guy whos already shown he can fight at that weight. But to me thats been Pacs only catchweight fight..... The oscar fight was oscars own doing, and they fought at the rightful limit of 147. but again, lets say i agree with you that the hoya fight was bull****, again.... a whole two times and hes catching **** for it? He was fighting at 130lbs in the beginning of last year, him and hoya get set to fight, everyone and their mother think Hoya is going to trash him and then afterwards pac is picking on Hoya? come on now....
I agree the catchweight **** is *****. But you gotta realized pac has a whole lot of fans who dont care wtf he does, they will defend and justify anything pac does. Its the same as, floyd and his cherrypicking, some ***s just love their fighter so much that they will refuse to hear any kind of criticism against them no matter how logical
"i dont want to go through it all but things like not beating any champion at 140 (at that time Hatton was still number one at the weight, and was the champion" let me check the wbc,wba,ibf,wbo...... nope hatton was not the belt holder for any of them. everyone blames the belt organizons for everything and often times rightly so but the linear belt has it's short comings too.... as i stated already, hard to beat a man who wont get in the ring with you.... at that time bradley was the best, holt was good too, neither pac or hatton fought them....
atsch Goddamn how fqing dumb are you, Mayweather Marquez was at a catch weight *****, at 144. Fqer royally fqed Marquez in the ass, changed the contract the night before and cornered team Marquez, fqed them, bad, no condom, prison style. Ya got suttin on ya chin, there, Kleenex.
bradley was NOT the best at the time... he only beat witter and holt while hatton had wins over tszyu, mallagini, and urango.... how can u say bradley was the best? whats your logic? im curious:think
