Looking real strong!! Nov. 14 2008 http://www.pound4pound.com/FightReport/2008/MannyPacquiaoPrivateWorkout.htm
IMO he just looks too solid, he looks very heavy and this weight will effect his speed and work rate, he wont look the same as he did in his last fight with Diaz, but it still may be enough to out work the aging DLH. time will tell I am not sure what to think of this fight, I think Oscar should knock him out but easily? not so sure about that against south paws Oscar has always had trouble. lets not forget though, DLHs fight with Mayweather showed that he can still compete with the best on this level. and I have no idea why people are making such a big deal out of the Forbes fight, he dominated forbes, but i just dont get the whole he got his cheek bone broke arguement to me he still fought through that and won which is something that I think Roach should consider as well. I think Manny is in over his head in this fight, he will look good early on but it will be reversal of roles around the 5th round on. I am praying for a miracle here, but I doubt it will happen, I say Oscar stops Manny in 7 rounds.
I admit, he does look strong, but I'm not going to jump the curb here. Let's see how he looks inside the ring on Dec. 6th.
Forbes has a great chin and really didnt do much outside of try not to get hit...I dont think that Pac will do that, and Im not sure that he can take the shots like Forbes did who did get hit by Oscar.
I dont think he can take the shots like Forbes did, if he thinks he can he is in for a short nights work. :hey
I think he's going to be significantly slower and less powerful than he was at 135. The only question to me is whether Oscar still has enough left in the tank to capitalize. Not really the kind of suspense that compels me to spend $55 on a fight.
why doesnt all esb members put £100/$150 each in so we can see pac/calzaghe at LHW and stop these daft debates once and for all.(surely we can raise 40 mill for this at least)direct all cheques to me and i shall forward them to the respective fighters.my checking account is under is registered as Mr F Warren..all donations welcome.I believe we can make this happen,i could even pull in a favour and make it a wbo interim fight at whatever weight we want,(if you make an extra £30 donation i will reserve a ringside seat for you in the biggest gym hall i can book for this MEGA FIGHT,after all i am the greatest boxing promoter in britain)
I'm just glad to hear Pacquiao is looking great in training after he had that one bad day in sparring..
Lookin good. I'm just hoping that his speed will not be effected and that he is as fast as he was against Diaz.
He looks very good. I'd be surprised if he was 151 though? If that's true... then fighting at 147 isn't as big of a deal as I first thought.
