Not really. Pacquiao taking Floyd's "drug" test will not end all this drama because Floyd is just gonna ask something to move the goal post futher. What's more if Pacquiao beat Floyd and passes the test, Floyd is gonna say the "drug" test is still not good enough.

Some of these folks hate Mayweather so much that they are actually against stringent testing in a combat sport exclusively because of the person who requested it.

    It's sad, really.

Based on the items you selected above, for most rational people, the testing is also trivial.

I'm actually in favor of more stringent drug testing in all sports. That doesn't mean I'm in favor of a drug testing procedure that will guarantee a drug free event but at the same time jeopardize an athlete's performance, safety, and compromise training. You are mistaking people's concerns on the safety of Floyd's requested style of drug testing for their hatred toward him.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission conducted their own tests with blood testing looking to include it in their testing procedures. Their findings state that not only blood testing was unecessary, but also potentially dangerous to boxers who already stand to lose more blood in a fight. Of course Floyd fans will say BS because it's too expensive and are only trying to protect Pacquiao when the truth is it doesn't fit their agenda. There is a reason why USADA stopped blood testing Floyd and Shane 18 days (almost 3 weeks) before the fight and rest assured it's not because they had no other reason to believe they were using PEDs, because if that was the case they would have halted urine testing as well.

As far as I'm concerned, as well as many other sane people, Manny Pacquiao has accepted a reasonable PEDs testing procedure, reasonable meaning if Pac decided to use HGH, he'd be caught in the post fight blood test regardless of the cutoff date. If Pac used EPO, urinalysis would detect that since it is the only scientifically proven method of detecting EPO. Blood tests also reveal a high red blood cell count, something you cannot cycle out in the cutoff days Pac has requested.
