First off, I am an unapologetic Mayweather fan that thinks he will whoop Pac's a$$. However, some of you guys need to give him a break about several things. 1) Calling out Mayweather: The guy has just been in a war. In spite of the fact that he whooped Cotto. He took some punishment himself. Did you see his face after the fight. From what I read, he messed up his ear drum and right arm:twisted:. At least allow the guy to get a Massage from an innapropriate masseuse before calling anyone out. 2) Catchweight and Purse split: Name one megaboxing event that did not include alot of posturing at the negotiating table. Arum even previously implied they might be willing to do a 50/50. I have not heard Mayweather expressing any willingness to compromise on the purse. Furthermore, Arum will be negotiating not Roach. Hey if one of them can get a bigger purse split why not take it. The catchweight is harder to defend however, Mayweather just made JMM go up in weight. Its all negotiating. I don't think they will stick by the catchweight bs because most fans would look down on it because of how devastating Pacman was against Cotto. :good Mayweather's still the man though:deal
Don't worry. Manny gets respect. Mayweather is a great fighter too but, if they met, it would be Pacman by UD.
I don't think Manny needs to call anyone out. That's just mind games from Floyd. 50/50 is fair, but I can definately see why both sides want more. The catchweight is indefenseable at this stage. I'll assume it's posturing by Roach for now. Manny is 2-0 with 2 stoppages at WW. He has a WW belt, and is rated by Ring Magazine as the no.1 WW. He also walks around at a couple of lbs. less than Mayweather. There's no need for a catchweight.

Roach tried to get a fight with Void, but Void refused, so Pac fought Cotto another fighter Void ran from. Void refused to fight Pac, Cotto, Margarito and Mosely. Compare Pac's fights with Oscar and Hatton with Void's.
Manny never called any figyter ever. He just signs the dotted line. The closest thing to actaully calling out someone was when he was asked for a rematch and he replied anytime.
Firstly PAC gets mad respect, he a ****ing beast in the ring no doubt. I only go off when and hour after the cotto v pac fight, im seeing threads like "if a certain someone ducks pac he is nothing but a coward" to "why wont the coward finally man up and fight" They then have the cheek to say Pac gonna get ducked, this fight will never happen. As soon as Pac got called out, everyone pretended that they didn't hear it. Or it was not a proper call out blah blah blah. We then hear Roach chatting **** about it will be another catchweight fight, it will be 60/40 in Pac favour, the fight will have to happen after the ELECTIONS. And yet people are still trying to make out if this fight does not happen it all down to 1 person and 1 person only, the bad guy himself. The double standard by these *******s is ****ing ridiculous.
