    u do realise that sparring is not a live competitive fight... its sparring...training.......... the point is not always for it to be competitive... its also used to fine tune different aspects of a fighters game. Or to guage progress. HELL roach can use sparring for anything he wants if it means hell win the fight! The sparring partner is being PAID by roach! The point is NOT for it to be FAIR!

    Next your gonna say its messed up how pac and his sparring partner dont have judges ring side scoring the bout.....

    Why do sparring partners even have gloves?

    I say do it the old way just spar without gloves, knuckles only.
    THats how Mayflower does it dog!
    Grab his ***** and spar away.....

    16 and 18 oz gloves are standard for sparring.

    Size

    Bag gloves usually weigh between 8 to 10 oz., though there is no specific regulation to what a glove must weigh when using a punching bag, so the fighter is free to use whatever weight he feels most comfortable with. Sparring gloves range from 14 to 20 oz., with most falling in the middle of that range.
