Weird to think this fight was over 4 years ago, feels like yesterday I was posting on the forums bout this fight. For some reason this fight seems much more more recent than his other big fights with JMM/Morales, probably cos it's what launched him to mainstream.

Threadstarters should have put a time limit on a poll to preserve the actual votes during that time. now people would vote pac by stoppage with the benefit of hindsight.

Pac was only a 2-1 underdog in this fight. Not huge by any means.

A lot more would have picked Pac had we known Oscar would have needed an IV in order to try and gain his health back the day of the fight.

alot more would have picked pacquiao if we only knew how good pac would be jumping up two divisions. even the 154 version that floyd fought would be smashed by pac that night.

People kept buying into Pac being a little guy, that's all.

The guy isn't little at all. He was heavier than Floyd and Oscar when they were all at 130 on fight night. He was 145 and Floyd/Oscar were weighing around 137 on the night. Pac had a size advantage in a lot of his lower weight fights.

Hell he weighed more than Oscar when they fought on fight night :nut

No one knew Oscar would be a walking corpse on fight night. He needed an iv before the fight. That right there tells you everything you need to know.

pac is still smaller than most of his opponents at LWW and WW. :patsch
even marquez was bigger than him in their last fight.

I thought it was perfect. Oscar the true warrior of the last 10 year, passing the torch to Manny, the next great Warrior of our Era.

Its a shame Oscar couldn't have got his training right to give us a better fight.
