    What did they want the money for? Pac holds no belt at 147, neither does Oscar. Were they trying to make it a title eliminator or asking for $100K to rank Manny?

    Well, the logic is that the "fee" is for allowing him to fight a non-title fight without being stripped for doing it. Now if the money actually went to whoever is sitting at #1 in the WBC ratings as compensation for them having to wait longer for the title shot they earned, then I'd be ok with it. But it doesnt. It just goes to the WBC. Absurd.

    Hopefully this sets a precedent for other fighters to do the same.

    Rocchigiani should have forced the WBC under, then there would only be two main titles.
