    That is unbelivable!

He started weighting at 48 kg - light flyweight

welterwight limit is 66,6 kg - that is almost 40% of weight gain!

That's why he's called the Pac-Man - a nonstop munching machine. Very hungry man.

End of thread. They act as if he's a natural 106 pounder and has made his way through the weights through pure skill rather than simply growing into his body.

but he won a world title as a 19 year old kid on his opponents home turf which is also impressive if you don't want to give him credit for moving up several weight divisions. imo he is a natural 122 pounder and it is impressive that he won titles at 126, 130 and 135.

So much hate for a guy who has done nothing but fight all comers in entertaining fights.

9 weight classes is a feat by any standard. And I have thought PAC has been fighting above his ideal weight class for awhile now.

The problem with it is: If you're going to make this some sort of an accomplishment - as in counting those first divisions when he was a skinny little kid, you can't ignore those two early stoppages. Because the argument is "he was weight drained, he was green". Yes, he was. But that also means you have to ignore his time spent at those divisions IMO.

I'd say he's been very effective at each weight he's been at, and looked more than satisfactory size-wise. Honestly, I think the guy just has excellent muscular genetics and athleticism and has progressively filled out his body as he's matured.I'd say he was really natural from 130 down, and skill-wise is just now at his best.

imagine if he was still in his prime weight (122 imo) and with the skills at the level they are now

I think 126-130 is his prime weight. He never looked better than in the third Morales fight IMO. He just looked like he'd finally filled out his frame, still had the perfect blend of power and speed, and had finally refined his style to be more conservative, and therefore less wreckless.

prime weight in terms of purely physical attributes, excluding his technical skills.

I think most people understood that.
