No, Pacman only fights fighters who are elite and in their prime.

ODLH was slightly past his PEAK.
Hatton was fully within his peak and Iron chinned.
Barrera was just slightly on the dclined.
Morales was Peaking the first fight, then was shot 3 months later against Raheem.
David Diaz was the monster at 135 to beat.

He just made them look like that with his abilities, Pacquiao has been doubted a lot before and there shouldn't be any doubts anymore, the man brings his A game everytime he steps in the ring regardless of opponent and hype, that's a true professional.

well said. it is too hard to pick an absolute peak in a fighter because you usually dont peak in your boxing ability as you do in your physical ability. you may be at your best physically, the fastest, strongest, most resilient you are ever going to be, but your boxing knowledge and iq are not yet at their peak. which peak is more important depends on the fighter you are facing. you do what you can with what you got at the moment. a great fighter does his best regardless of where he is at in his evolution.

Convenient to omit his defeat over JMM.

I am so sick of hearing about Pacquiao. There are other great fighters to discuss. I want to know what his "bandwagoners" are going to say when he loses to Mayweather. Why did he fight DLH at 147 but refuses to fight Mosely at that weight? Why did he pick David Diaz instead of Casamayor? Thank you ULIULI for speaking (writing) your mind.

Oscar was truly shot. He made Ricky and the other look more shot than they really were. Morales was truly shot by the third fight but only as a result of the beatings that Manny had put on him in their first 2 fights.

Actually , ODLH was a shadow of himself that night. And I never doubted he was going to KO Hatton early. Hatton is a B class fighter. And Paquiao is a beast. The rest of his fights have been great. Some of them were close. But he still a beast.

    Oscar was shot.
Ricky was good at weight, tactics sucked, Manny's plan was spot on.
David Diaz... don't make me laugh.

    It's a combination of both.

Pac is a beast no doubt but you can't deny the notion that in the least he leads a charmed life !

And for anyone insisting DLH was not shot:patsch, just consider the fact that
this ATG looked worse than David Diaz, a fighter highly considered at the time to be the worst belt-holder at 135(no disrespect to Diaz)!

we all know he was past his prime but nothing close to shot. he just gave a prime floyd a close fight and just beaten a contender in steve forbes. it's amazing how they label oscar shot after the fight with pac. i would not be surprised if they would call hatton a shot fighter too this coming days. very predictable. :patsch
