I correct myself. Oscar may or may not be shot, we don't know. What we do know is that Oscar was weight-****ed.

he made it look easy he beat excellent fighters easier than the people who may be better than him did while the people he beat were better than ever (except dlh)

David Diaz- Is not the best champion at the time but was considered the 3rd best lightweight when pacman beat him.

Oscar Delahoya-Nobody thought he would be so weight drain comes fight night. It doesn't change the fact that pacquiao came in with his A game and trashed delahoya.

Hatton-He was prepared for the fight but i think he underestimated pacquiao's punching power. He thought he could ran into it and not get hurt. He was dead wrong.

Overall pacquiao just showed how much of a beast he is by going up in weight class and bringing his speed and power with him.

So many haters want to make excuses and forget to give pacquiao his props. Aside from the david diaz fight, pacquiao was the underdog against the delahoya fight and it was a 50-50 for most fans with the hatton fight.

 

You picked Oscar to beat Pac - your wrong therefore you have no say in this matter. Infact after making a thread about "excuses Pac fans will use when DLH beats him", you are now here making excuses for Oscar when Pac beat him. You should be ashamed, Im embarrased for you.

No one said Hatton had an iron chin, Pac just demolished it. Hatton was in his prime.

MAB was not slightly on the decline, he was prime as he could ever be. p4p #3, 29yrs old, coming off wins Morales, Tapia, Ayayala, Hamed, kelley, after the beating he beats Morales, Fana, Peden, Juarez*2 & gives JMM a controversial fight 4 years later.

Morales was past it but still gave a very good showing, an elite fighter in the 2nd fight still. Showing up overweight for a fight at 135 cannot be compared to fighting fit at 130.

Diaz was still a champ, B level fighter than Pac made look like a B level.

Morales - Not prime, true.

Pac is better now than he was in those fights. It's not like "oh prime for prime Morales beats Pac every time". No way, sure Morales wasn't the same, but Pac is not the same either.

Diaz - He's no legend, true.
Oscar - As bad as he was in the fight, most people predicted Pac to lose. It was a huge risk. So at least it wasn't cherry picking, not even close.
Hatton - Prime. KO'd him in 2. He's shot only cause Pac beat him.
