why do they persist in talking about how pac beat the bigger guy, they never mention if the bigger guy is any good by the way:patsch

So we suppose to be impressed that pac beat a mediocre big guy yet we are not allowed to ask pac to beat a great big guy.:think

even if he was allowed to use his head as a legal punch Margo would maul him. ****ing joker, how is Bradley going to win, he's nothing to keep Margo off of him. and sure margarito is mediocre, because you say so. forget the titles he won, the great fighters he's beaten. one loss and he's a bum. logic of the new age scumbag fan :-(

Pac is a natural 140lb, he said it himself he is now 143-144 without trying to lose weight.

However for whatever reason, he is fighting at 147. There are 2 reasons for this:

    1) It's where the big fights are/were and if they really are gunning for PBF, its best to stay accustomed to that weight rather than going to 140 then up to 147. Changing weights could throw his timing off.

    2) Roach has said that Pac is happy when he can eat and do as he likes on the day of the fight. I suppose Pac thinks he can handle 147 so why bother trying to cut weight to 140.

You forget Floyd turned that man down for 8mil when the public really wanted that fight and Margo called him out to his face. Yep hes a bum, once again, Floyd disagrees with you.

well at least i see what you are trying to claim now, but no...he is a bum because:

mosley didn't beat him, he kicked the **** out of him

he was caught cheating (which discredits his good wins)

he was OOC for over a year, and then came back looking like ****

and even before the mosley fight, he never strung together a series of solid wins

hey, i do have to admit he has some nice names on his resume, but everytime he really climbed to the top he got knocked right down again....by the time pac got to him, it was obvious he was not "elite" especially at this point of his career

he only left 140 to set bigger records and he got badly hurt against margercheato

dont get me wrong he clearly dominated marg but those few glimmers of hope for marg really did there damge on pacquiao the next day

he should move back down gradually to 140

There are some big fights out there still at 140

I agree with you on Bradley, JMM, and Zab being fairly contested fights, but I dont think Maidana could handle the relentless bursts of Pac for very long, dont get me wrong, he's tough as f*ck, but if he struggled at time with Khan's speed, how could he deal with Pac's? Alexander is over hyped, Mathyse is the poor man's Maidana, and I dont think Khan and Pac would ever fight each other (but i would love to see that one)

I'm not sure who in their right mind would fight Pac at 140. There's plenty of good fights to be made there, but if you're a 140 fighter, would you really want to face a man that bullied and dominated Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, Margarito and possibly Mosley (and that's just recently)? Hatton was the man at 140 when Pac obliterated him and no way are the likes of Khan, Bradley, etc THAT much better than Hatton. It would set their career back years if they matched up against Pac imo. Pac doesn't need to prove anything any more anyways, least of all at 140 (apart from a potential Floyd fight of course).

This is bad for pac imo.

147 is terribly weak atm, but I thought he remained because it was his natural weight.

Now 140 and 154 are decent divisions. If he can make the weight why the hell isn't he fighting prime p4p contenders like bradley, jmm or khan? Why is he wasting time fighting old guys with no wins in two years?

After beating clottey he should have fought either berto or floyd. If not then we should see him campaign in another weight class. Especially now he admits he can make 140!

I genuinely have no idea why he won't fight in one of the strongest weigh classes!

Why don't people understand re-hydrating to 144 or so, and coming in at that weight with stable and unchanging muscle behind it, are two different things?

We've always pretty much known this. He doesn't have to do the normal routine a boxer has to do to benefit from their lowest possible weight class at 147.

At 154 we could see him vs alvarez, cotto, martinez or angulo.

At 147 we could see him against floyd or berto.

At 140 we could see him vs bradley, khan, judah, jmm, alexander, matthyse, maidana, kotelnik.

Instead of any of these quality (albeit it overmatched up until 154) names we have to settle for margo and mosley. Deary me.
