The you're making the assumption that you are right and everybody else is wrong. If that makes you happy then keep it to yourself.
i'm not a fan of jmm. i actually like pac far far more. doesn't make what happened right. & btw bravo on falling back on the classic internet strawman. if someone disagrees with you: they are a fanboy in denial. again...no sound points of your own. top quality posting. btw. a majority of people on here...& a majority of profession boxers...& a majority of professional boxing journalists: seem to believe that jmm won & was robbed. did you point out to the op that as he disagrees with the majority he is clearly wrong? or did you save that little beauty for me? :huh
One thing I didn't like was the corner of Marquez telling him he is winning. As the challenger he should've pushed more. He practically gave the last round to Pac. Although he won in my eyes, that should've helped.
The aggressor who came forward and controlled the ring. No risk no reward. Quit crying professional boxing is scored the way its scored. You want the rules changed because you are butthurt.
a) quit crying? i'm not crying. you are clearly a pac fanboy tho. :good b) yes. & you don't understand how it's supposed to be scored.
JMM won round 12 easily. Manny landed three whole punches. (use your eyes, don't cite the totally BS compubox numbers) Even one of the corrupt judges gave JMM round 12. I also thought JMM clearly won round 10. Punching air should not be counted as hits for Manny. He looked like a fool in there.
I scored the fight 116-112 Marquez, if i could rewatch the fight on something that doesnt freeze every 2 seconds ill rescore it but until then i will go with my initial result
tbh...i find that laughable. landing the better cleaner harder punches particularly to the body. defending better with his movement, slipping shots & catching a lot of pac's offence on his gloves (have people forgotten you do actually score defence? oh no...pac threw more...he won...duh...) as i've said before...i don't like jmm. i actually like pac a lot & think he's a warrior & a credit to the sport. that doesn't change what happened. you have to respect styles, not just say the guy who threw more won the rd. boxing scoring doesn't work like that. "throwing more" isn't a criteria. "aggression" isn't a criteria. & even if it was...pac was only marginally more active anyway.
This^^^... in a close round with a low punch output, the round must go to the agressor- i.e., the one that is moving forward and cutting off the ring!
