Didn't say it was a rule, just asking if he should be able to... What I'm getting at is, would he have fought at 145 for the 147 title if he didn't have to put his title on the line at that weight?

That's what I'm getting at.. Why should he have to defend his title at a limit of 145 when he won it at a limit of 147? Because Pac is small? Then make it a non title fight...

 

And would he have AGREED to fight at 145 for the 147 title if he was able to do without?

Roach does not choose who should Pac fight and has never negotiated any of his fights.

Yes I went back and forth with some tink person yesterday on here saying ODLH was a catch-weght bout... I tried to tell him it was a WW fight at the WW limit...

 

yes, title should be on the line. If you're a champion in a bigtime fight, you put your title on the line.
