    PBF's defence, please.

Theres a reason why he's undefeated and won nearly all his matchs without any trouble.

I'm not saying Pac's attack is easy at all. He's near the top of the P4P lists for a reason, after all. My point was, and I expected some degree of overreaction when I made it, that PBF has the shots, the speed and the chin to be a come forward style boxer a la Pac. Speed is speed. If you're quick on your feet going backwards, you can be quick going forwards. Same with handspeed.

He chooses not to fight that way because he can win without engaging and running the risk of getting KO'ed. It wasn't a dig at Pac, I was just pointing out that PBF can fight in different styles while Pac is more limited in that respect.

Again, you're missing the point of what I was saying. If you were the one getting punched for a living, would you want to eat a lot of punches or not? I wasn't commenting on who I prefer or would rather watch, I was just saying I'd take Floyd's bigger pay days while being punched less over Pac's all action style, from a purely selfish perspective.

    Manny's attack by far.

If Pac is an american, he would prolly be earning about at least $10M fighting nobodies.

Being exlent at defense is not as exciting as having an exlent atack, but I think being good at defense in boxing is the hardest thing to do in sports.

Floyd's defence all the way for me. I don't care how exciting it is, anything that keeps me from getting hit and in good health is always first.

Does anybody have the stats on how many times does manny get hit per fight? Because there if there is on damn sure thing is that he always outhits his opponents. except for the JMM fight (which was very close punchwise), he was probably outhitting his opponents by a ratio of 2:1. That is just counting the punch statistics and if you factor in the power, that means a lot.

For a supposedly all offense and no defense figher, Pacquiao seems to be a hard target to hit (probably because he throws puches even in weird angle, i.e., EM-MP 3 first KD). He has not been in a Katsidis-Amonsot, Corrales-Castillo kind of fight in terms of being hit despite his all offense attitude.

I think that the concept that MP gets hit frequently should be rexamined on actual stats (don't have time and don't care to do it) vis a vis with PBFs stats. I am sure that the figures might be closer because most PBF fights last the distance while MP usually ends in a KO.

My vote is for both fighter. It is exciting to watch an all offense fighter but it would b nice if he employs a SRL defense too ala SRL -Duran 2.

Floyd has one of the most complete defenses ever. He is one of the best defensive fighters of all times.

On the other hand, Pacman's attack is not in the same level of Armstrong's, Duran's, Tyson's, etc. It's not one of the best of all times.

though predictable the speed spells the difference.plus he already had a right hook now and it's known as the manila ice and he also hits you downstairs and upstairs so what is one dimensional with that? if you're only trying to anticipate pac's straight left then you're a fool' all the fighters pac fought know about that so what happened to most of them? and you think pac ai'nt smart enough not to notice that?
