Pacman, overrated?

Great post!!!! I agree 100%

 

2 years ago everyone thought he was overrated because he drew a controversial fight with JMM and won fights over past their prime fighters and he was on his way to prove to the world what he was made of by fighting JMM again. Now were at the same point were he fights a bunch of has beens and tries to redeem himself by fighting Cotto.

 

ATG no doubt, but definitly overrated at 140+

Hatton was a has-been?

 

Looks like theres only two fights on his resume that should be fully credited and even then Hatton wasnt all that great, remember what Roach said....but according to you any fighter who moves up in weight to fight anybody should get credit.

 

He deserve varying degrees of credit for ALL of them. Some he might deserve a little less credit for, but he definitely should be given props for ALL of them. I listed the ones I listed because you Pac haters have been saying that he doesn't deserve credit for this hot streak he is on because something was wrong with all of the guys he faced.

 

Over-rating depends who you're listening to. Pacman is a star and deserves to be for what he has done in the ring. He didn't know Oscar was going look old and drained. He beat Hatton the way he's supposed to.

pac is properly rated i believe overall. he's a ATG fighter, likely in the top 30. he has a brilliant resume and undeniable skills. his resume has flaws, all do but he's had a fantastic career and these threads add nothing
