Do you really think Pacquiao 4 years ago really had the pull or clout to ask for more money for his opponent? JMM got paid 750,000 dollars for his first fight against JMM, about the same as Pacquiao did.

Much love to Pac for doing that, but remember the JMM 2 fight was signed a little bit after the first one. But I think something happen while both were making career paydays. But I think Marquez left Top Rank and fought John. But I still think Marquez beat Pac both times. Correct me if I'm wrong

Its funny how JMM truly cannot get out of the spotlight when it comes to Pac's achievements in and out of the ring.

    Jilted fans..

didn't Tito get paid something around 16 million for his fight against Roy Jones Jr.

    Its a karma thing...

I truly believe good things happen when you spread the wealth. Especially after a whooping that you dish and get in return.

It works both ways. Two of Pac's highlights consist of basically stealing the spotlight from JMM!

Stealing the spotlight? If JMM were as charismatic and marketable as Pac there wouldn't even be a conversation. He should have NEVER took the fight for 30,000 bucks and he shouldn't have bit the hand that fed him (arum). I see JMM as being greedy right after their first fight. His negotiation plans obviously backfired. That was JMM's only flaw and mistake (Besides getting caught 4 times by Pac) as a boxer. Blame it on Nacho whatever but leave Pac out of it since Finkel gave him a small window to take on the rematch much sooner.

If you ask me, I think David Diaz deserves a million for that postmatch interview.

Hater? It's true dude. I'm sorry it hurts you so much.

Tito was supposed to fight Mosley in a mega fight after Mosley fought Winky. Mosley lost. Tito had no other big fight out there. He finally opted to fight Winky instead. Winky would only fight at 160 for an extra 1 million. After much negotiating and King not budging, Tito's only option for a big pay day was to invest 1 million into Winky.:deal

That was not his only option ..Tito didn't have to offer anything out his own pocket ..
