No stay on the western part of the country so I can drive out to see Mayweather get smacked down like Cotto, Hatton and Golden Boy in Vegas.
If this is true, I will convert to *******ism!!!! Make it happen Manny I will be greatful to you,for the rest of my life, because i get to see this fight live!!!!!
At this point I don't even care where it is...as long as they fight! But Yankee stadium would b good I'll admit...only about an hour drive from me
Never in a million years. In the pay per view era, they would NEVER NEVER NEVER leave an event this big at the mercy of the weather. Do you know how much money it would cost everyone if the fight gets rained out? Besides, by the time they're ready to fight, baseball season would be in full swing. The only large venue I've heard thrown around is Cowboys Stadium (which has a retractable roof), and that's just a smokescreen in my opinion. The only venue where the fight makes sense is the MGM Grand, so Bob Arum has been trying to invent an alternative so they'll pay more. I suppose if he wanted to pull something out of his butt, he could try to have a wealthy investor in Dubai try to front the fee and have the fight in Dubai. Or get one of the big new casinos in Macau.
let them fight in the rain, they are getting punched in their faces what does a little rain matter:huh
Yankees Stadium doesn't have the equipment in place to put up a temporary roof or tarp. Also, it doesn't hold enough people for them to make more at the gate than they would in Vegas. If it's held outside of Vegas, it would need to be in a football stadium - someplace with enough more seating capacity that they'd make up the $15 - $20 million site fee they'd get from the casino. And before anyone brings up the idea of a temporary stadium, the risk of liability is too great to do that these days.
I think that Pac has a desire to fight in NYC, under the bright lights, I can respect that!!! It don't get no bigger than broadway, hate to sound like a snobish Newyorker but its true. you know what gets me, Floyd has never expressed this desire, he has never even fought at MSG he seems to be oblivious to the historical value of this venue or frankly has no respect for the past at all either way it sucks
it holds about 50K people and some really historical fights have been made here this is the type of fight that deserves to be held in The Bronx!!!
it dont matter how far u drive u wont see mayweather getting smacked like cotto :rofl two different styles, he would lose a different way
