Yeah, I'm not sure what that will accomplish...besides avoiding the drug tests. Actually maybe he is doing it so nobody else shall ever ask him to do the proper testing.

Won't get any argument from me if you want to argue for better testing in boxing.

But a couple of weeks ago no-one on ESB was arguing for better testing in boxing. No-one had ever mentioned a body called the USADA and probably wouldn't have known what it was had it been mentioned to them. So tell me how now everybody is on a crusade for better testing in boxing? How come everyone suddenly thinks that organisation is the only one that can conduct a legitimate drugs test. How come people are advocating Floyd instead fight Shane Mosley, a known drugs user.

Floyd isn't interested in better testing in boxing. Goldenboy aren't interested in it, they know Mosley will swallow anything someone gives him without question. They're just using the issue for their own means with regard to this one particular fight and they know there is a ready supply of gullible ******s out there to help spread the rumours and make it look like Mayweather has a valid case.

again, why would they risk getting caught during the random testing if they can stop juicing right at this moment?.:patsch

Utter crap. Passing tests doesn't stop any suspicion. Marion Jones passed countless drugs tests, didn't stop people speculating up until she finally admitted using. Lance Armstrong has never failed a test competing in the most stringently tested sport in the world, but is still suspected and rumoured.

Actually the only way to truly clear your name is to be ****. If you're **** no-one suspects you of taking PEDs.

To be honest, I was not aware that the testing in boxing was so inadequate until this issue came up.

One urine test before and one after? That is it? A ****** can get away with using PEDs with that system, seriously.

Cheaters have been getting away with **** for WAY too long as far as I am concerned. I will be writing to the NSAC as a fan that wants more stringent testing to be done.

It needs to stop and I think all of us as fans should be writing to the boxing commissions to get them to change their testing policies for the good of the sport.

I agree, but it seems certain people around here are happy with the status quo.

We could all argue that Manny is on roids or anybody is simply due to this way of thinking, However I think if Pacquiao agreed to this style of testing and passed them all with Flying colors it would defently put Floyd and company in their place.
winning a lawsuit wont mean ****, but passing those test first and going after Floyd in court later will IMO hold more water

  8. Don't you understand? He's willing to pass blood tests in addition to the standard urine tests he's been passing his entire career. What he's not willing to do is enter his fight with the possibility he may be weakened by excessive blood testing too close to the fight.

we are not talking about a guinea pig experiment, i.e. Brain transplant, heart transplant. What I dont understand is that everything changes. When you use to drive, all you had to worry about the police catch you speeding, now they have traffic cameras, and are continuously trying to improve catching speeders and traffic violators. What is wrong with boxing seeking to improve its testing standards as time change. It is not about Pac and Floyd, it is about making boxing safer and keeping up with the times. Pac could make all this very simple.

Why wait until March to enter this new era of up to date boxing safety. Will Goldenboy be implementing these new procedures for the Mosley v Berto fight. Or don't they care about safety there?

I cant speak for that fight, however, they could or could not. But it has to start somewhere. This is not personal, it is business.
