A couple of years ago, Floyd and Pacman were never in line to face each other because several divisions separate them. Even talking about them facing each other would make you sound like a lunatic. These two fighting could only happen in mythical p4p matchup. But now, not only is it going to happen (mostlikely), who would have even fathom Pacman has a decent shot of beating Floyd? If you look at it in this perspective, this is rather insane.

So who would Floyd have to move up in weight to face that would be equivalent to Pacman moving up to face him?

Welterweight - Super Featherweight = 2 divisions between them, that was the difference when Mayweather retired.

Granted Mayweather is a pretty small Welterweight it's still insane to have this matchup and Pacquiao being picked by many (including me) to win. I'd say it's the same as Mayweather vs Sturm? Or Mayweather vs Winky Wright.

you comparing Sturm to Mayweather? It doesnt have to be a fighter of this era. Just someone who would resemble an equivalent of Floyd but bigger.

Bernard Hopkins-really the only elite fighter between 160-175

dawson-pavlik-abraham-froch-kessler are very good but not elite like b.hop which is what mayweather is right now.

Remember pacman has jump into 3 weight class since his last fight with marquez.

Cotto is 1 inch shorter than Floyd and has about 4 inches less reach. But I think Manny and Floyd will be a great fight. OR Cotto/Floyd
