Ricky Hatton has recently compared himself to MAnny interms of being a likeable guy and great role Model for youngsters. I beleive his statements couldn't be further from the truth and I think they are bordering on dillusional. Hatton comes accross recently as an inderectly arrogant guy who likes talking about himself in the 3rd (person - I thought ROy Jones and MAyweather did that) Hatton said hes a man of the people like MAnny...thats pure BS. PAcman gives his money away and feeds the poor, all Hatton does is prime that POT BELLY and his bank balance. Don't get me wrong I think Hatton has been our best fighter for the past 10 years. His level of opposiiton and willingness to face the best on foriegn soil set him apart from a guy like Calzaghe. Calzaghes career is a great stat.

No I don't hate Hatton, I have been a fan of his for a long time. Watching him live in the MEN vs Tszyu was the best moment as a boxing fan. But recently I feel Ricky is loosing that genuine everyday man apeal he used to have. .....eg He keeps telling everyone in every interview that he is one of the lads etc....gets boring ...almost suggesting to you that its fake. Mayweather said it for real in 24/7, hes Steak and Patatoes for life....(we know Mayweather is a dickhead but he doesn't pretend to be otherwise)....with Hatton his image seems fake ...when really he is an egotistical fat manc.
Yeah Pac man gives all his money away.. the reason he was demanding 60-40 against Hatton.. wasn't because hes a greedy **** like everyone else. Its because hes a humanitarian. Until I see him throwing millions off the roof tops hes no better.
