I guess Pacquiao answered Marquez message.

Good call! Im thinking after surviving Hoya, He goes for Hatton then he takes on Marquez. Maybe Pacquiao ain't stupid to let his fans down if he's not gonna take on Marquez.

You left off one telling quote from the article, "here's one dollar, Marquez. Now show the world that you're not afraid of me."

Pac doesn't want a piece of Marquez when there are bigger money makers out there like hatton or hoya.

    Marquez would school Pac.

It should be him chasing the 3rd fight to try and regain some pride because we all know he lost the first 2 fights.

Most probably a misquote or a deliberate, over the top translation.

I cant trust most local sports writers these days.

Only a couple of them are true boxing writers. (veteran boxing scribe, or having actual boxing, refereeing or judging experience)

Who the hell is manny thinking he is OScar? It sounds to me as if Manny is trying to purposly short change Marquez just to avoid the fight, what a BAKLA! ...“No problem. Anytime. But he must agree to my offer because I will be the promoter. If he agrees to a small offer, then it means he’s really interested. If he fights for a bigger purse, then it’s just for the money,” said Pacquiao, the reigning WBC lightweight champ.

That was a tongue in cheek comment, lads. If you read Manny's quote - If he agrees to a small offer, then it means he’s really interested. If he fights for a bigger purse, then it’s just for the money. . .

It's just a bull**** thing to say. He has to agree to small money or else. . .

god's sake, its just a quote, and it could well be a misinterpreted quote.

JMM would take a 25 percent cut because he needs Pac more than Pac needs him.

WTF is PacMan thinking? Fighting DLH made him just as arrogant as Floyd. Yeah, offer him small money you dick! Make sure somehow you can avoid the fight. By the way Marquez did agree on fighting PacMan for a small amount of money - that's why we had a rematch. But hey, we might see the 3rd fight after PacMan knocks out DLH as he promises...

No he's not, Manny makes perfect sense. If Manny beats DLH his stock goes up making him worth more money than Marquez and last I remember it was Marquez who lost and needs to avenge his loss, which he's doing and much credit to him for that.

Also, the fight with Oscar isn't just about money, for Oscar yes it is only money but for Pac he needs to be 100% ready physically AND mentally or he gets knocked out. Let's not forget the man is moving TWO weight divisions up for this against a naturally bigger stronger opponent who is also very skilled.
