I've been watching bigtime boxing events since 1987-1988.

And I've seriously followed up and coming Filipino fighters careers since 1995.

I'm not as boxing smart as you are, but dont generalize.

i understand what your saying bro, i just take **** like he's doing personal....it's a ****en robbery on both there behalfs....
and i just aint prepared to see the hype, banwagon fans, media and just overall all the bull**** that's gonna surround this fight.......

but i aint hating, i hope he makes all the money in the world, but it's gonna be a cold day in hell when he realizes that the love he was getting from people is worth a lot more than the money oscar can bring him.......that's another sad reality of the sport...that once a fighter focus's on money, he starts losing everything that made him, HIS FANS

I find that hard to believe freddy..I was a big Tyson, Mcgirt fan...Ive pretty much seen all the big PPV fights from the 90's and on..

I consider myself a casual boxing fan.. its only natural that when someone like Pac whos pinoy reaches a certain stardom ..that some of these casual fans become more passionate...

Im pretty sure that many minorities watches or even played golf csualy before Tiger..but now golf is a major sport, even in urban areas it has sprouted

its only natural really...our boxing culture is behind mexico..we dont have a JCC coming out every 5 years or so..

Thats the way i see it. MARQUEZ VS PAC 3 is the only fight that makes sense.

pac was always fighting for money. we just think that he was fighting the best barrera-marquez-morales one after another but in reality, these are big money fights for pacquiao then.

yes he is brave but money and opportunity is the reason why he move up to fight barrera. money is the reason why he move up and fought morales. and today its still money that drives him to fight dela hoya and even sacrifice his current standing as the top p4p fighter. at least pac is fighting for money and risking himself moving up.

thats like me saying that since the Mets won yesterday impressively..they have now become the favorite to win the World series.. Of course Pac should still be number 1...it would be more ridiculous to put JMM #1 and leapfrog Joe and Pac...the rational way to do this is wait for their next performances and see how they fare

at the same time p4p list is mostly BS...what i need to see is the someone giving props to pac after a win..not someone who keeps him at #1 p4p when in reality he didnt even fight

This only means 1 thing: pac doe'snt back down from challenges and to say that he don't want to face jmm for a 3rd fight is a stupid thing to say. That's the same thing they said about pac before the rematch with jmm! I would'nt be surprised that pac would go back at 135 to face jmm again to prove all of his critics wrong: which he always do.

So then is Pac fighting for honor or money with DLH when he was bitching about getting 30% of what would be the biggest purse of his career and the biggest purse out there for him.

Im sure that JMM would take the smaller purse out of the two but it just seems as a ploy to offer JMM the short money so that JMM would turn down the fight. In this point in JMM career he is not in Zab Judah's position where he had to take short money to get the Spinks rematch.

Manny says: I'll promote, take all my conditions and get shafted on your purse.

Come'on call this bull$hit what it is: BULL$****.
