I think its good. Castillo is nowhere from his former self. Still in training he should be effective. Didn't they say they were flying in three to P.I.? Any ideas on the other two?

agreed. some people here acts like JLC would be pac's opponent. it's just sparring and it would only be for maybe 3 rounds. if castillo is giving pac a good one, he might have more rounds per session. if he is not up to the task anymore, team pac could pull him out anytime.

 

Castillo would blast you all away even if he weighed like 180...

 

I would think Jorge Linares should be another one. He is kind of similar to Cotto. Plus, he sparred w/ Pac before.

 

Cotto and Castillo have very different styles dude, but what ever works.

A strong pressure fighter who can go to the body well. Hmm, seems like a good choice as a sparring partner to me... and for those saying that Castillo is too old and shop worn then you don't understand what is needed from a sparring partner. You want a guy who's formidable enough to push you and make you work a little hard in sparring, but also someone who you're superior to and not someone who's going to bust your ass all over the ring. Castillo is a fine choice.
